New muffler on the ‘05 LX. Had to cut off all the old bolts.

Replaced the hatch handle. This thing rusted out on my 92 and it was a PITA to deal with. At least I was able to replace it on my 100. Feels much better now. I painted the handle metal prongs with the encapsulator and that's still drying so I haven't put the plastic handle back on yet.

I used this job as my first foray into rust repair. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Eastwood (Rust Converter, Encapsulator, Chassis Black, Internal Frame Coating) and a handful of different brushes and wire wheels. What I did I think at least looks better and hopefully will stop the rust from spreading fast. I will probably have to replace the hatch in the future but for now, it works.

Anyone paint the rear "LAND CRUISER" emblem instead of replacing? The plastic is peeling.

It’s not too bad. It was originally a Connecticut/NY vehicle. There are three small spots the size of a dime where the rear seat slope is. The real problem areas are the passenger rear wheel well under the bumper. And the passenger rear rocker box. I may have a local shop address those areas.

Got the front end aligned today following the lift. It rides like butter. Straight down the road and no wandering.

I have my SPCs set on position D for 1.0+ caster. Alignment info came back with caster at +1.5 and +1.7. I'm happy with it.

Toe and camber were on spec.

If you are happy with it and it doesn't wander than that's all that matters. Your SPC UCAs are certainly capable of a lot more caster tho! I am running Toyota OEM UCA with 2.0+ degrees of caster.

Thanks for the tip. I might try the 2.0+ setting for kicks. Lifetime alignments are good.

My Caster is +3 and that seems to be the sweet spot with the bigger tires and lift but sounds like you have the option to play around with it.
Is your SPC setting A for +3.0 or are you using fixed preset UCAs?

Here are my specs above.

My arms were set at C. The shop used them for the macro adjustment and then dialed them from there. They didn't get caster quite perfectly matched but it tracks well. Lift likely dictates the amount of caster you want them to throw on it. I'm at around 2" front and rear.

The previous guys had made a mess (Les Schwab) several times, so the "before" is just way off.

Added land cruiser grill 7inch headlight conversion. I need to get some etching primer so I can paint the chrome to match the powder coat grey. I went with a color other than black as an homage to FJ40s

What lights are you running? And how do you like the light output? I’m debating on this vs retrofitting my stock lights.

Right now I just have the $100 amazon special which put way more light then the stock. Eventually I'm going to get these because I think the light pattern is better and it has that class round headlight lines.
