will the running gear hold up to 37s? holy crap just 35s on lockers with that wheelbase will go anywhere..certainly everything around here. so jelly
 
It has K084 Axles front and back they are one of the heavy duty toyota built axles. they can handle it stock within reason but i will be changing to chromoly axles beefing them up just for extra measure. It should be a good go around car no interstate speeds though haha but i am looking around for an 80 series because it'll be an all round better camping/exploring vehicle.

Literally everyone is getting an 80. Soon I will be the only one not in one

@TommyGuns helped me put on my new rci skid plates for the entire side of the fjc today. The bolts on the cross memeber were so screwed up from bashing on rocks that we had to weld to them to get them out. Finn was there to supervise. We also got the front end with some fresh grease and no more squeaking!

After a sh*tload of primer and paint, I got my bumper hung. Had to mount the solenoid behind the grill but I plan to relocate it to the engine compartment eventually. The first day after I got the bumper hung, I got a call from a neighbor to drag him out of a ditch. Timing......

Pulled the fuel tank and found out part of my fuel problems, dumped it out and got some leaves in with the gas. Put it all back together and drove it.

Noticed my front passenger wheel bearings where slightly loose the other day when swapping tires. Opened it up, gave my trail gear spindle nut maybe an 8th of a turn and all the play went away.

Locking tab that keys into the spindle and then bolts to the nut to keep the nut from going anywhere. This is very similar to the OEM designed spindle nuts on the rear axle.

Also while I was in there I replaced the allen head bolts the spindle nut comes with, with some smaller button head ones. There have been reports on that on some 80's the drive flange can rub on the tops of the original allen heads. The size that fixes this issue is M3-.5 x 10. Easy fix and now all 4 corners are tight which is good since I have a long road trip coming up.

Also noticed the pinstriping from rocks on my rear driveshaft. Close to being taken out more than once for sure. This is why I keep a spare rear driveshaft with me lol

Need to crank up some Ozark Mtn Daredevils, Ol Bucky is up in the ozone with the new Orion installed. Now to start saving up for an arb or 2
