I admire anybody that can hit steel at 200yds.

Really? You need just a little more practice. I play with an old Mauser and a little M44 Mosin rifle at a little over 200 yards all the time.

I've never shot my M14, now I might just have to do this !!!

Only took one picture but both rear axle bearings and seals are done. Bearings removed were pretty loose and nachi brand, maybe originals with 260k? Napa stocks the koyo that’s pictured on the Toyota parts website under their altrom line, it even came with new retainers

I'll see if I have one. The winch was mounted to a steel plate with a hitch post on it, which was attached to the trailer with heavy chains choked around the A frame of the trailer. That's what my coworker told me to do. He's got 70 or so cars on his land and a few wreckers, so I listened to him. It really wasn't all that precarious. Heavy ass chains.

Time to go adventurin’ with the kiddos.
Def going to try to make the Aug meet up. I’m pretty sure by then I’ll feel confident enough in this thing to make the round trip with no issues.

Oh, and I have three leftover cans of Rustoleum appliance epoxy in Biscuit color, which is a close match to Cygnus White, if anyone is interested.

Kid changed the thermostat in his 4runner the other day. I asked him if he was sure he put it in the right way. He was offended I asked.

He called a little while ago after he headed to work to tell me that it was overheating. I didn't want to deal with it on the road so he ate dust and smoked his brakes while I towed him home. I couldn't wait for it to cool before I tore into it because I knew what happened.

He had one damn job...

I haven’t done THAT, but I’ve done things like that! Learning moment

Nothing like a trip to Ouray to get things done! Isabelle finished up the welding of her bumper and I painted it at work. It turned out well and she learned tons about fabricating.

Next up is the rear bumper!!!
