Replaced the driver’s side rear window vent. I did the passenger side a few weeks ago because it was broken and this one looked fine. Yesterday the weatherstripping was hanging down the side of the truck, so I replaced it. Also worked on the OEM jack a little. Scraped some rust- made sure it worked smoothly- put rustoleum rust reformer on and then a top coat of bed liner. Still works fine, so remounted it in its spot.

Put the jack inside a zip lock freezer bag before storing it. Then fix your leaking quarter window and/or belt moulding.

Little details like the louvres make a nice visual difference. Looking good.
 
Started to dive into my driver side rear quarter panel rust and this thing was right where the rust was forming.
It has an expiration date of 1997 and my truck is a 1996……….
Are these the Toyota Magic Beans that keep it running?
