What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Cutting up the Cruiser. Huracan Fab tailgate storage going in. The angle grinder made quick work of most of the cutting but my electric file really saved the day and made all the cuts smooth. I've got additional upgrades planned for the panel.

Nice to see I’m not the only one who wears crocs when cutting metal.

That would be my son. I had my work boots on this time. However I have welded barefoot before and that hurt.

People and their death wheels...I'm a fan of metal cutting saws:

I particularly like the Bosch, but my son already had a Milwaukee 1/2" impact, so I opted for one battery & charger setup. His impact will be around until he moves out anyway, so I get to put off buying my own battery. ;)

It'll cut almost everything I need cut, and I have access to a horizontal bandsaw that'll get the rest. It's really good with sheetmetal.

Love the quads.

Thanks me too! I love my HDJ81 but it definitely needed quads. I have some lens covers coming and then a second set of H4 to replace the H1 set. I'm going to be running a painless wiring harness so all four plugs are H4. Since my fogs were built into the headlight housings, the plan is to relocate them to the bumper with some round Koito yellow lights from crusier cult.

My new ‘96 is traveling to me through space and time via covered delivery. Lots of potential weekend work arrived today from UPS…

Did you permanently wire in your Starlink? I was thinking of hardwiring my Starlink but now that @Delta VS offers a mini anderson plug option and there are power cables for Starlink using the mini anderson plug I am going that way.
Starlink is permanently wired through switch pros 9100. I have a line ran to the QPM area, and an open line for future components.

Last night I added the trail teq keyless entry to the HDJ81. Same kit, newer version, that I helped Ben test original prototype on my NA 92 FJ80. Version 4 is amazing and simple. One of the best mods.

Also added the trail teq clock spring hub adapter with steering wheel controls for my LC steering wheel. Same wheel as my 92. I purchased 2 over a year ago just in case. Ben’s kit was way easier than the PVS route I had to use on my 92 FJ80. Truly plug and play. Bad pics, as it was a late night install. More to come. Last one is my 92.
