Yeah, MDF and water is a bad combination. I used it to make a sub box for my boat and even though I epoxied it, humidity got inside and warped it.

I bought one, pictures in my build thread. The MDF concerns are legit but so far it seems very nice. yes magnetic latches, 2 compartments. Great armrest for the passenger, not the driver because of the hand brake in the way. Also makes it a little more difficult to pull the hand brake lever. Took about 8 weeks to get it.Came across a interesting center console:

But now starting Phase 2 after stripping off all the accessories, interior panels, winch, and bumpers, dropped the rig off for a facelift:

For sure..one thing always seems to lead into another despite well laid out plans...lol.
I dressed up our cruiser for the neighborhood Halloween trick or treat parade. The family had fun tossing candy to kiddo's.
