Here. Now.
Denied AGAIN by the shiat show emissions in Colorado without even given a chance to get a test. I was told by an emissions tech last year, at this same air care Colorado station, to get the front lockouts to run the 80 on one of three RWD testing stations when I showed up with temp 31's installed on the 80 with a 3+ lift to pass emissions on the joke of someones brilliant idea to run an AWD emissions testing station that only allows 34's and under in a fawking state that has the highest concentration of 14'ers in the lower 48....

On goes the front lockouts as suggested, Already had the CDL switch, Then comes 2023, 1 hour plus trip to the same station and spewed out as much exhaust pollution as I have all year combined in my Cruiser since I don't drive it much only to be told my 80 is not allowed on a RWD testing machine.... I was given a form to fill out and a phone number to then now be told my VIN doesn't allow RWD testing even though it has a Toyota factory lockouts and CDL switch installed by a professional mechanic. No exceptions, no common sense or reasoning involved, not even an inspection or a verification of my VIN. Just a sold nope.

WTF do you have a RWD test station installed when you cant even use the damn thing. WTF is it for then? For cars made with no damn front wheels? Check bay 1 when you go get your emissions tested again and see if it is EVER in use. Your tax money put to good use once again.... Guess it was put in for some damn unicorn car made in China just in case....

I bought this thing 3 years after it was built with low mileage in 2000, drove it within months to Christo's home in Lakewood when he was working out of his garage @sleeoffroad to drive what I think became either the shortbus or schoolbus and loved it so much I immediately put on 35's and one of his first gen lifts. I have put on over 100K miles since that day on my Cruiser with absolutely zero issues EVER getting an emissions test passed over 15 years and some asshat shows up in the capital and decides to implement a shiat show of a joke emissions test now required by law just to be able to drive my vehicle on roads I have help pay to build for over 50 years.

About to drop about 50 F bombs on what this state has become..... What a bunch of nonsense.
Try a different station. Maybe lay off the Red Bull. Lol

Yeah, all good, Like I later mentioned I think I was having Russel Wilson anxiety that day. This emissions testing here is still a POS, no matter how you look at it. It certainly doesn't make me feel any better about anyone in that building approving or even having a clue how to deal with a LT conversion I will eventually get to.
$15 later and a new updated OBDII app and plug to save a waste of time driving down and 5 minutes later, passed. Guess I go back to the OBDII test.

Replace original vacuum booster to Toyota crown jzs171 dual chamber. No any modifications, bolt on replacement. Cheap junkyard tuning 😁

I drew new door panels in the autocad and cut them out on a cnc milling cutter
Looking great.
Will you share the autocad files?
I had the same idea, but don't know how to copy the panels to a drawing program.

That is awesome to know that the booster from the Crown will fit. Finding one stateside will be impossible, but I am looking at this option from PDI Coolers in Australia Dual chamber brake booster They carry one for the early 4 bolt master and late 2 bolt master cylinders that were used on the 80 series.

Remember those are right hand drive vehicles, I don't think you can get the Crown booster in a US spec rig due to the intake manifold.

You might be correct. It will be a tight fit but worth the shot.

Without removing the manifold? I still need to deal with this…
Yes if you leave the old one in place it’s a ten minute job. If not you can get that sucker out it’s just a PIA. I just loosen the intake plenum bracket and move it to the side then reach under there and undo the two hoses I capped both the intake pass thru hoses with screws and a piece of vacuum hose. Then attach longer hose to there perspective ports and zip tie in place. Grab the connector and hook it up. Then step 6 🍻

Wheeled Blue trails at Windrock to test out the new Ironman lift with @WhiskeyBullets and @Lextronix. I need a Labs rear bumper and 35s plus a bunch of other super expensive stuff.

That looks great. Are you rebuilding 1FZ’s top top and bottom for others??
I am selling a motor I was going to rebuild for me but a gentleman reached out and it worked out so I rebuilt it to his spec. I am in the process of getting a good side hustle going with selling 1fz-fe’s but they are hard to come by. Also selling 80’s after I get a above average baseline and refresh. It will take time as I have a full time job and wife and kids.

I removed In shot. Broke down for cleaning.
Followed Otramm for lay of the land and then just mobbed.
That's the good stuff, I removed mine but replaced it with a new one, seemed like cheap insurance.

The transmission cable isn't to bad. I'm glad I pulled and rebuilt it with my 1fz refresh a few months ago.

I used 1/4 and 1/2 inch split loom with plenty of Tessa tape.
