Did some tool / garage cleaning after having completed the wrenching marathon that happened between week after Christmas and now!

I have noted that the steering box leaks quite a bit, guess that will be on the rebuild bench soonish

Making some progress today. It’s the only way to paint it correctly. Works every time though.

Welded what seemed like 75 holes. No more flares. No molding. No cladding. Just perfect.

Diagnosed / fixed a bad ground in the engine bay with a multimeter and the electronics FSM!
Hopefully that helps on startup with the flickering lights in the cabin!

It has a little more of a pearl to it and the tiniest part of red for a 1/2 gallon. All of our cruiser builds get it and it's worked out well. It's cooler to the touch in the hot sun. I've compared it to white and the temperatures on the same surface, same angle in the sun are cooler by 12+ degrees.

Truck developed a "clunk" in the suspension somewhere after an offroad trip two months ago. I rarely drive it, and I just lived with really hating the sound every time i do while researching all manner of suspension parts that could be purchased to fix it.

Finally just crawled under there and found my sway bar link nut was loose. Laziness and procrastination causing anxiety for the win.

Rare find. Most all are reproductions it seems. Been in Atlanta my whole life until recently. 96 Rock had the tunes and the vibe. What a way for the Regular Guys to go out though. Can’t be certain, but I’m sure I was listening in live when it happened

Haven't driven more than a hundred miles with new Delta VS radius arms on Ochenta, my 1990 HDJ81, but they feel pretty good so far. Next step...head to an alignment shop to get updated caster readings. After adding Dobinsons springs and a bit more lift, steering was light so some additional caster correction was in order.
