Drove to the top of the world before the snow starts to fall.

Was able to get up in the San Juan’s one last time and enjoy the leaves and hike around before the snow really sets in. Was pretty cool the differences between the first two photos and the next two was only 25 minutes and 2,000 feet up. Looks like an entirely different world.

Great photos, especially the 3rd one.

Had to take a last minute biz trip down to Houston to meet with a client this past week, no time to book a flight and no rental cars avail on short notice, so decided to "Cruise" down. :) Rig did 4 hours (down and back, 8 hours total) on the freeway at 70+ mph and AC running like a champ.

On the return trip I got a honk and wave from a guy in a nice 40th Anniversary rig. This would have been on 45 North around Spring, TX. Any Mudders rockin' a 40th recall waving at a green RHD LC on the highway last week?

While on the subject of encountering other LCs in the wild, I've only seen two others locally (I'm in Rowlett, TX, an Eastern suburb of Dallas):
1. A green LX450 w/gold hardware
2. A maroon 80 (not sure of year or if LC or LX) that I've seen twice...honked and/or waved both times, but passed too quickly or at a distance, so no time to note the details.

Either of those ring any bells in the Garland/Rowlett, TX area?

I love the camaraderie of this community!

Changed out my front O2 sensor on my 96. It's at 321325 miles. Can't tell if it's original or not, but it was a Denso Japan unit.

Replaced with Denso unit.

I was seriously worried I was going to break off the studs. I installed the Magnaflow downpipe a couple years ago and used plenty of copper anti-seize on the threads.

The nuts had started as 13 mm heads and had deteriorated to where it was between 11mm and 12 mm. I ended up tapping on a 7/16" hex socket and gently worked them loose (soaked in PB Blaster overnight first, of course!)

Got it off after about 20 minutes, then cleaned it all with steel brush, ran a new nut up and down the threads, covered in in fresh Copper AS and reassembled.

Haven't even driven it to see if it fixed it.

I was seeing very erratic readings while driving. It would fluctuate from 0.03v to 0.95v or somewhere close to both ends in between with me not changing the input to the throttle and on flat ground at even speed. I understand that high v readings are rich and low v readings are lean and the ECM adjusts based on that reading.

When I replaced the rear O2, it would freeze up at some random point (0.400 range or lower) and never move. When I changed it, my mileage improved about 8%.

Then I pulled the EFI fuse for 15 minutes while I cleaned up and recorded my info. I cycled the key 3 times and no crazy start-up sequence (rev high and low a few times), it started and just purred nice and smooth.

Since I spend a lot of time on the highway, I monitor what it's doing through my UltraGauge.

We'll see what happens.

Yikes! $2k really? Looks cool and sleek but wow that's a lot of coin.
But we all have to ask.... How will it help in a rollover?

I just got a set of 5 G003's put on my 80 a few weeks back. Had the same problem at first, nobody had 'em. Called 4 different shops. No one could get them. Tire Rack didn't have them either. Ended up ordering them from Simple Tire via their Amazon listing. Two or three days later I had 5 fresh 315's in my driveway.
