Tried out the new 6lb tank. Little smaller than I would like with a propane fire pit that seems to be the norm these days. May be able to squeeze two days of fire and cooking but doubt it.
Also added back on pinstriping while at it... Wax job lasted a whole 3 weeks...

Powertune .
Fully customisable 7" touch screen.
I got the Samsung "Tab E" low cost tablet, Bluetooth dongle for the OBDII port, and the Torque App Pro. This let's you create different gauges and arrange them. It has speedometer calibration as well. And GPS with coordinates. You can also have other map Apps for way-finding loaded to switch to when off-road, such as topo maps.

Do y’all want to be mad? ‘Cause I’m gonna make ya mad:flipoff2:

Get it home. No fluid on trans dipstick, added 3 quarts and located ruptured hose feeding trans cooler and swapped. Yup, she drives good!

Ok I am mad. But I am also mad at that giant mustache-looking lightbar.

That doesn’t quite go with my philosophy ….buy high/sell low ….but hey if it works for you 😂

Nice score! I mean, she's ugly but for that price you could pull the axles off and still come out ahead haha

Added AVS Ventshades. No room in the garage, so the trunk sits in the driveway. North TX summer temps in the 90s and 100s, and cabin temps were insane. Without the ventshades, couldn't really leave windows cracked due to frequent popup storms. These have solved that problem!

Haven't measured actual temps, but I can tell you leaving the windows cracked has made a huge difference that will hopefully extend the live of all this 27 year old plastic and rubber.

The install was easy, just take your time and follow all instructions. Took about 20 minutes, including time to clean the install area and going slowly to make sure all was lined up evenly before applying pressure to the 3M trim tape.

Low profile, and IMO if you didn't know better you'd think they were stock. Highly recommended cheap, easy addition.

Clear hoses are not recommended for drinking water.
The exposure to the sun encourages the formation of algae and greenery in the pipe.

Copy, I think being tucked away and with tints I have there should be minimal exposure to daylight.

Hose was purchased from Reece Plumbing - reputable trade wholesaler and is food grade and fully rated for the passing and storage of drinking water.

Thanks for your concern. Thankfully the hose is clear so that any discolouration / algae build up won’t go unnoticed.

As suspected. Rear locker wouldn’t engage after day one on Rubicon. Swapped for another stock shaft. Super happy it didn’t break!
RCV axles will happen before spring.

Finally got round to plumbing a start on my Boab footwell water tank. Can’t wait to wire in a 12v pump for it and hook it up to an lpg heating system. All done with Philmac poly 1/2” bsp fittings and 12mm braided hose.

I just did something similar. Put an 18 gallon tank where the spare tire used to be. Plumbed in an on-demand pump and it feeds an LPG hot water heater for a back country shower.
