More CO pics.
Engineer Pass is a doozy, the rig was 7,200 lbs and there were a couple sections where I Activated rear locker for insurance. 4.88’s really helped, Hugged the mountain a few times to let jheaps pass.

Last week, spent some time camping in the Rockies (I.e. telluride, Silverton, wolf creek, purgatory, Ouray).
Last dollar Pass from telluride to Ridgway.
Engineer Pass from Silverton to Lake City.
hot springs in Orvis (note:a lot of old people going commando there...when in Rome...)
ice cream in Ouray
The drive to Creede was amazing, San Cristobal Lake is beautiful. Creede is eh. Pagosa Springs is overrated.
Beer at The Nugget in Purgatory is underrated.

Ran into @Zantier on Animas Fork, that’s was a highlight to see an 80 after all those jheaps and side-by-sides.

The key to camping in CO is...if you see 5th wheels and Subaru’s you haven’t gone far enough in.

Nice! Headed that direction now! On the way from Ohio via a southern route. Camped in Arkansas last night. I unfortunately have a Heep tagging along. Lol

Not one weekend but two - plugs, wires, cap, rotor, igniter, PCV, vent hoses, Wit's End coolant elbow for my Koso temp gauge, alternator, starter, belts, Wit's End block drain, PHH, fuel filter, heater valve & hoses, working on replacing bolts with Overland Metric stainless, rear diff fluid/swapped with Wit's end hex plugs.

Next weekends - front axle service and rear bearings.

I thought that was poem...spent ages trying to make it rhyme

Onto non suspension stuff now...

been working on a none glue down one side foil heat shield like a cow

I chose to go with Cool-it Thermo Guard FR product, much cheaper then Dynamat somehow.

48x72" I cut the 72" in half so it folded over the trans cover perfect, and the install went better than expected, wow

The only issues I had was installation of the front seats cuz the holes didnt line up so good causing me to furrow my brow.

There, I fixed it for you ;) :smokin: :rofl:

I just got my 80 a few weeks ago. And for some stupid ass reason I just bought a backup. Actually going to keep the white one and maybe sell the moon glow.
For now it’s awesome to have a pair!

@Brav depending on what you paid, seems like a smart move to me. The 80 market is hot right now!

Hard enough to find one in desirable condition, nice score on getting 2.

very true. Lots of dogs out there. Both of these are quite nice with very good interiors. each just need minor things to make them great.
