@Dubbinchris Two questions:-
1) Was there a technical reason that made you remove the paper clip and install the new cooler?
2) Have you noticed any difference/improvement?

No reason right now other than I had a few PS leaks and wanted to just replace everything. Wits End has this kit ready so I pulled the trigger on it as well as the high pressure hose from gates. I doubt I really needed the better cooler at the moment, but as I gear my 80 up more, I plan for more and harder wheeling so I suspect there will be a need down the road. I have yet to drive it much so no difference noticed. I doubt I will yet though. I do leave for CO tomorrow so maybe I’ll notice something.

Added this doo dad today. Straight to the aux battery with a fuse.

Welcome back to the madness. She looks experienced... what year?

97 40th edition....... I hope this rig will be like dating a large women. The body may not be the prettiest but she should be trouble free and dependable

I have the same front metal tech bumper. Will you stick with metal tech ? The 8274 won’t fit down in that winch mounting area.

The RV is the neighbors lol

I lost the warn as part of the deal on the new rig. I don't plan on doing much with this rig other than driving it until I finish school in another year. Than I will probably get a low profile winch to fit the current bumper. Although I am seriously considering welding a couple of extra hoops to protect the headlights on case I hit a deer.(I have already hit 3 in the last 10 years).

And because everybody loves pics...

Onto none suspension stuff now...
been working on a none glue down one side foil heat shield. I chose to go with Cool-it Thermo Guard FR product, much cheaper then Dynamat.
48x72" I cut the 72" in half so it folded over the trans cover perfect. The install went better than expected.
The only issues I had was installation of the front seats cuz the holes didnt line up so good.
Enjoy the video...

Left it at home and driving cross country from Maryland to Seattle. Saw Badlands National Park yesterday. Yellowstone tomorrow.

I thought that was poem...spent ages trying to make it rhyme

Last week, spent some time camping in the Rockies (I.e. telluride, Silverton, wolf creek, purgatory, Ouray).
Last dollar Pass from telluride to Ridgway.
Engineer Pass from Silverton to Lake City.
hot springs in Orvis (note:a lot of old people going commando there...when in Rome...)
ice cream in Ouray
The drive to Creede was amazing, San Cristobal Lake is beautiful. Creede is eh. Pagosa Springs is overrated.
Beer at The Nugget in Purgatory is underrated.

Ran into @Zantier on Animas Fork, that’s was a highlight to see an 80 after all those jheaps and side-by-sides.

The key to camping in CO is...if you see 5th wheels and Subaru’s you haven’t gone far enough in.
