One of my horns quit, so I bought a set that match my 2009 Chrysler T&C that seem excessively loud. I'll post after I get them and install.

How much and what P/N did you purchase for those?
08522-60010 is the part number. I have had these on the shelf for almost 5 years, but I think I paid $110 from Cruiser Addiction back in 2015.

Well, this weekend I dropped the oilpan at 5 A.M. on Sat, and got it off and clean just in time to come inside and make pancakes for the family at 7:00. Then I pulled the distributor and cleaned up the side cover on the ol' 3FE, which has leaked for a long time. I'll replace the gasket soon. Today i dropped the rear driveshaft and popped out the u-joints. I did the front one in Dec, and never having done it before i ended up having to get the old grinder out. It took me a couple of tries over a couple days. This time though, it felt easy!
I bought this '91 FJ80, my first, in Dec. It took me a while to figure out what baselining it would look like, and it took even longer for the winter to thaw, but now I am off and running. My knuckles are torn apart, my diff is at cruiser outfitters getting rebuilt, and i have several baggies of bolts, nuts and washers

Here's my list for this service session:
Oil pan gasket
Side cover gasket
front knuckles
front diff
all u joints

Going to do suspension and windshield later

Going bone stock, as my main purpose is a high mountain transporter.

I'm squeezing it in during early morning or evening hours.
Sometimes I'll set the kids up with a video while I run out and do something. I'm finding I kind of like the broken up aspect of it, it never builds up to the long hours of intense focus that really drain you.

No, the rubber bumper is screwed to the body. I doubt that block is attached to the body, just the frame bracket. I'm not certain how one would get a bolt long enough in that location to go through the spacer and into the body.

Here are a couple pictures of my rig with a 3" lift. The "mount" in question:

Hope it helps.
Thanks, that helps a lot. I will have to look at it again tomorrow.

Installed the latest and greatest in Fire extinguishers. (Thanks Herman) Complete with a glass breaker and seat belt cutter. Last 5X as long as a traditional 5lb extinguisher at less than a 5th of the weight. Mounted for quick access without being the way or taking up useful space.

Still carry cable cutters because NO fire extinguisher will put out an electrical fire without killing the power source.

Not an Element but same concept

What's the verdict on this extinguisher? Brand name, how much, and where to buy? I recently took delivery of an E50 and was searching mounting ideas when I ran into this post. I like the glass breaker and belt cutter features on yours.

Never had a problem from it but, this place is the reason I have a snorkel

I enjoy the pics, and probably the outcast here, but I hate dunking trucks in the water these days. That always seems to bite me later. Prefer being on top of the water
Feel the same way. Just not worth it. Half the time it can be a total dupe too, you're good for weeks afterwards and then your car alarm starts sh*tting the bed or something

The guy I was working with faded off into the sunset.

Blue hub fan clutch mod
Used toyota silicon oil 10,000 cst. Comes in 18ml bottles
part# 08816-10001
Let it drain for an hour and added about 34ml. It was almost full up.

Got that new-hub start-up roar back!
Once temp hits 194, on scangauge app, it doesn't hardly go above 194 now. Hub was maybe 4 years old and had lost it's luster and the temps went higher than I had seen before.
Did the doo and voila temps are either 185 or 194 now.
