Changed side marker bulb! Woo hoo! Literally all I've had time for. :meh:

* actually had time to change the oil as well, didn't think I had enough on hand (never really looked) but found some left in a 5 qt container

Changed RF marker lense that tree branches took out two weeks ago.

I stomped on My hood to try to flatten it out. It looks slightly less sh!tty now...

Need a new, non rusted hood. Last one I got was trash. But should’ve kept it and put it on. Hindsight 20/20

Tried to remove drivers seat belt, can't be the undercover off the sliding mechanism. :bang:

Went to clean contacts on my dome light switch, it fell apart in my hands, now no dome light. :bang:

Arranged to buy a used power steering reservoir and discovered 92 mount is totally different than 97 so that was a bust. :bang:

Not a productive day. ;)

Ordered TJM front swaybar to save a few bucks over a month ago but TJM can’t get their act together and ETA is April. I got pissed off and just ordered the whiteline sway bar from amazon and it got here in 3 days! Installed it this morning and wow it sure has very noticeable improvement. Cornering is much nicer and flatter, even with super heavy Arb full length expedition rack(150lbs) old girl feels almost modern like my GX.......ok almost.:hillbilly:

Hey there...nice to see you on a real Land Cruiser forum instead of that 150 series Prado garbage ;). You got a pic of that sway bar without the wrapper?

is this front or rear? Did you replace an OEM?

Somebody (me) did not turn off the cell phone booster and after several days I went to drive the 80 and battery banks were at 4v. Based on my solar charger info it was like that for a couple days:eek: Killed the Duracell battery so I replaced it under warranty and the battery guy said by the ways the sides are sucked in on the battery it looks like strong discharging took place. :grinpimp: Really:rolleyes: The Optima that runs in parallel lived. o_O

Did not want this to happen again, after complaining to a friend the Amazon fairy sent me a bluetooth Battery Monitor, thanks. Does a few cool things but the feature I like/need the most is I can set up parameters that can send me notification there is a voltage problem. The other feature I like is I can monitor the percentage of charge and all the info for my office. Normally I plug into 12v solar shore power to keep the batteries fully charged but this will keep me in check with my batteries when Im not. Super easy install and all that was needed to install the software was a QR code reader and it did everything else.

I love mine for all the above reasons but things get twitchy up front when I drive with my front swaybar disconnected.

Nice to see these are available again.

Doh I didn’t take one, should of. I’ll try to take a picture of it tomorrow installed.

Yes, this is for the front, I have already replaced the rear which made a huge improvement in handling. The front definitely is an improvement but not quite as big of an improvement as rear so if you gonna upgrade one at a time do the rear swaybar first.

Speaking of which, with the new much thicker swaybar I probably will have to disconnect the front when go wheeling. The factory swaybar mount is TINY! I got the LT swaybar mount/brackets but need to find out how to install them from @NLXTACY However I dread the thought of crawling under the rig and disconnect and reconnect but I can't have everything.

Does the rear whiteline sway bar hinder axle articulation more than the stock bar? IIRC, I read this to be a fact some time in the past.

I get 100% articulation (OME L shocks) out of the rear but not as easy as before. I did optimize the length of my swaybar links to be even with the LCA. Whiteline literature states 104% stiffer than factory and I noticeable the difference in the first turn.

For my set up it has been very nice for road travel and handling.

I dont disconnect all that much but when I do it smooth things out and keeps the wheels on the ground making it well worth it. If you plan on being lazy about disconnecting it good you upgraded the front mounts.
