You can only fly to Kamchatka. There is no road from other states. Only airplane from Moscow or Vladivostok

How do/did you get your truck there?!

What in the hell do you live?!?! I just looked it up and you are close to Japan! Google maps doesn’t even have directions from Kamchatka to St Petersburg (we are going there in a couple of months and was wondering where this is in relation).

Obviously you have never played the game Risk.

I have and knew how big Russia is but it’s still amazing to me to actually know that you can’t drive someplace. Crazy.

All this cold white sand is depressing.

Nice view, morning light, and a cup of coffee all at 57°:flipoff2:

May you get sand in your crack!

I’m ready to move! This sh!t is getting old!

Passed NJ emissions inspection today ! :bounce:

Do you know how difficult it is to get the CAT monitor to set by following the Toyota drive cycle in NJ? 7 minutes at 40-55mph, and then 7 minutes at 35-45 mph is darn near impossible in this state. You can't drive 7 minutes ANYWHERE at a constant speed without hitting a stoplight or traffic. It took me 650 miles and a week of driving to finally get the CAT monitor to go READY.

I did find out after the fact however, that in NJ, 1996-2001 vehicles are allowed two non-continuous monitors to be in the not-ready state and still pass inspection. Regardless, I'm now good for two years and can move on to more fun maintenance/projects.

Also added some bling to the engine.

My old heat shields had finally cracked around the bolt heads enough that they were beyond repair. My wiring harness and AC line will run happier now :).

Part #s for heat shield? Mine is fubar at the bolts

We just got back from a week on Cozumel (no 80). I need like two more weeks there. Not on Cozumel.

I bought some charcoal, sprinkler repair parts, and some pea seeds. Also I bought a creme brûlée torch for the upcoming camping season. Does that count?

Had a friend recently purchase 34 acres near me with several old buildings and an abondoned minivan. Spent the day shooting and then took the truck around to explore a bit.

Shot the windows out of the van. Basically shot the van ... a lot. Going back this weekend with the big boy guns to have one last go at it before it's towed away for scrap.

Poser shot for my buddy. This is a barn foundation from the 1800s.

I heat my house, gagrage and hot water with an outdoor gasifier furnace. Whenever friends take down trees or know someone with wood available they give me a call. My friend took down a huge ash tree at one of his river properties. Time to get to work ...

Muddy 45-50* hillside. It's never simple flat ground.

The wood is always bigger than it looks in pics. Most of the stuff on the hill was 10-15" diameter. Big wood was kept up top ... teenager for scale, he's 5'10". The main stump is still standing and is almost 4' in diameter.

Hillbilly Status ... 100

Sawing on the muddy hill was sketchy at best, so we chokered the logs and pulled them down to cut them up. Worked like a charm. Having my friend that is 6'4" and 260lbs help didn't hurt either.

About halfway done here. We got almost everything down to the bottom and maybe 70% of it cut to size. No after pic, was just too tired.

Hoping to finish up the bottom stuff this week with my son as a helper. Here in PA wood is like money and people are always down to steal it if you leave it laying around.

I think I can speak on behalf of everybody...we’ll take your word for it.

Came up to REI in Nashville and found the 80s twin. Stuck around for a few to see if the owner would return, but no luck. Hopefully they see this post!
