Installed Slee washer bottle relocation kit, maybe it’s my reading comprehension skills but instruction seems a little odd. Good quality kit except it’s missing an extension wire.

Install the second battery tray then found out the battery I have for it is too big!!!!

So what’s the biggest battery that could fit in that trey? I’m looking to install a Marin deep cycle battery.

I installed the slee washer bracket a week ago and it had only one wire. The wire i got was long enough to cut in half and use for both wires.

I recently installed a Duracell Ultra Gold BCI Group 34 as my second battery. I don't think I'd go any bigger.

I made screened, louvered, air vents to use when sleeping in El Guapo in warmer (and potentially wet) weather.

Right before I went camping/riding last weekend, I saw a YouTube video where a guy made something similar for his van. I had already made window screens, but I had to use a tarp two nights in a row because of the threat of rain.

So, yesterday I took a stab at making my own. The panels are corrugated plastic (think nice yard sign material). I cut them to cover the entire window, for privacy and light blockage. Tools: utility knife; Gorilla tape (black and clear); yardstick. I also repurposed (for a 2nd time) the screen and magnets from our old Magic Mesh screen door.

I left them on the LC all last night and today, just to see if they would stay. They did. And, we also had a light shower before I got home this evening. The next test will be to sit inside with the windows down while it's raining and see if there's any leakage. If so, I may have to get fancy and (try to) cut them to fit into the window track. nice

Installing a 24 gal. LRA aux tank so I had to moc=ve OBA airtank made some brackets and shoe horned the 2.5 air tank under and behind drivers side slider

Got a brand spankin new Scepter can from Petr aka @VidereStudios. And new seals and such for two others. No more leaks!

Brand new was only a touch more than the used cans on fleabay and Petr’s Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Mine’s a group 24 I think. I don’t really know what’s supposed to be stock. I think you run into issues with the posts bonking the hood if you go too big...

Got the ARB signal to work with the Euro signal. Changed the oil on the 100. That’s about all I can do with a 3 yr old and a 3 month old.

I went back and double checked my info and my Duracell is a group 31. I didn't have to modify the OEM hold down.

Had to justify to the wife why a new bumper was needed, so got to work pulling some big limbs a neighbor gave me from a tree he had removed. Put my 15 yr old son to work gathering up the pieces as I cut them. Wife is happy to have the mailbox area look less hillbilly, so bumper is all good.

Made a commitment on where the truck is headed over the next year. Picked up five 37" KO2s. Cruiser is now on jack stands in the garage prepped for the knuckle rebuild. Just trying to find some consecutive days where I can disassemble and rebuild so I don't have to stop and forget how things came apart. If it goes as things seem to normally, I will fix the knuckles and break two other things while doing so.

One could use the factory hold down but an unsafe hold down in my opinion. I use a much safer mount that goes the other way and does not tear into the battery box or run the risk of shorting out.

The mo better hold down system shown in the picture below will be offered at Land Cruiser Products in the next couple of weeks.
