Been looking for a while now and finally pulled the trigger - excited to join the 80 family! Thanks to the mud members who helped me thus far.

1993 w/2.5' OME, 4x4 labs front bumper + Warn VR10s winch. Can't wait to go wheeling in Hungry Valley tomorrow :)

Nice rig. Don't take no sh*t on it being red (@LS1FJ40). Love that color.

That looks nice! One of my buddies texted earlier to ask if I was going to the event there, but I'm stuck in a classroom all weekend.

LOL, I just looked up what was happening this weekend in Hungry Valley, and it's a Rover event.

Very cool, that thing must ride like butter! Do you have a thread on the setup?

Yes, its more comfortable then springs.
All air bags from volvo fh12 lift axle. Contitech sz130-25p05. In my setup lift around 8".

Picked this used 4x4 Labs rear up from a local club member. Took it out to have it sandblasted down to bare metal.

Forgot the bare metal pic, but was able to get some primer on it before it stated rusting again. It will be a while for me to muster the courage to cut the rear frame. I may need to find a local MUD member that has done it before to help out. This bumper is stupid HEAVY.

Also made some other small gains ... got the AC charged on the cammo cruiser. No issues there and ready for cool driving. Then put new belts on the LX450, used a paperclip to clear out the port for the EGR and got my PO0401 code to go away long enough to pass inspection. Still need to address the dragging parking brake on the LX. I can feel the heat coming off the wheel area after driving it, so I guess that is the next project.

I love those link posts that make me spend money! Took me right to amazon and when I realized what it was, went right to "add to cart". Thanks a lot for making me explain things to my wife. But honey........
Add to cart? You need to set up "one click"!

If you have to explain $15 to your wife then how the hell did you ever end up with any Land Cruisers?!?!

I don't really have to explain those little things. They do get me an eyeroll from time to time.

Truth be told, my wife has never said I "can't" buy a Cruiser I'm after.

Finally got front drive shaft off to get new ujoints and rebalanced. Drove it with CDL locked and to no surprise the vibration is gone. However to my surprise the Aussie rear locker is almost silent which means all this time what I thought was Aussie ratcheting is actually my birf clicking? Seems hard to believe but I don’t see any other explanation. Good thing is I have replacements ready to go.

Just when I thought I knew every Land Cruiser owner in the area I see this.

Stripped stuff off and pulled one door panel to push out a dent before getting a full respray and ended up replacing all the speakers, lot more work than I planned on doing but can now say only two of the speakers that were in there worked anyway.

Going to big some big changes in the next few days
