Hopefully this avoids the fox lower nut seizing issue. Lots of antiseize on before the nuts. I didn't like how quickly the stock nylon lock nut seemed to corrode in the thread area...

Well, we are talking about my sister so... I guess it would be easiest to say her husband thinks so!

I'm just glad you live in Michigan and not one of those other states where you could be her husband as well...

Installed a mount above my jerry can holder with quick fists for my incoming 10lb propane tank.

I missed my 80 this weekend as I'm away from home working.

Apparently you're not familiar with parts of Northern Michigan!

Got my dual battery setup up and running, but I broke the switch mount so I need to fix that. I also put some leds in the rear bumper and got my Prinsu rack installed. Love the rack and it was fairly easy to install with all the writeups on here. I used the wedge washers to make up for the angle and I bolted them down a little different than what others have done. I just cut about an inch off of every bolt and screwed them in from the top. That way there isn't extra long threads hanging out. It doesn't have the redundancy of a double nut, but I think it'll hold. I'll keep an eye on it and it it gets loose I'll use some loctite.

Well that was fun for a brief moment. I rolled my sunroof back and heard a pop and it stopped moving. Great, I just broke my sunroof. Or so I thought. Apparently I got a little carried away with the quick steel patch for the original holes and the sunroof took care of it . At least my sunroof still works I guess.

Said by the Ohio guy.

OK, I know Im in this thread a LOT but damn I love this rig, 80bajabound started it, and Im just continuing.

Got my rebuilt steering gear box back, and finally got everything back together over the weekend.

Replaced all the hoses, new PS pump, new @sleeoffroad drag link, and new steering damper from trail tailor (@reevesci):

Also got my new 14in pusher fan wired up, and it seems to be working great. Oh, and an oil change.

I got an alignment, and it seems to be driving much better. Hate that it was stuck in my garage for so long, but it was nice to actually knock out a few mods. I took off my rear bumper end caps to try to paint them (again) but i basically hate them at this point, and likely have no choice but to upgrade to a new rear bumper in the near future. Looks like some people are having success with spouses just buying them items that they've added to their amazon wishlist, so maybe i'll just keep leaving the browser open with the slee rear bumper page loaded up, and cross my fingers.

Rear bumper or supercharger? There are just too many things i'd still like to do.
