Installed some new rear 6.5" speakers and finally replaced some broken power lock motors! ...I now have 5 working power locks. ...like a boss

Changed out the air filter. Emptied the tuna can. Bought gas.

Side note/question:

How many times can that cleanable air cleaner be cleaned/rinsed?

I finally got a free weekend so I decided to check out pismo beach and the dunes to see what surf and turf fuss is all about. Well so did 20,000 other people that went to pismo beach.

It was crazy!!!! The dunes are ok and not quite my thing but man it was nuts on the beach. Crazy amount of atv and bro-dozers zooming around every where, poor kids had to run the gauntlet just to get to the water. Constant police and ambulances zooming back and forth with sirens on.

Decided this isn't for me and started leaving but within 1/4 mile of the entrance I pulled out 5 different rigs.

Biggest is a full size Chevy lifted sky high with HUGE chrome wheels and low profile mud tires and ATV in the back, of course 2 wheel drive and buried axle deep.

Yanked him out from tHe huge hole he dug with my winch but he couldn't move an inch due to the soft sand. So I had turn around put in 4low and dragged him to the gate.

Dumbest is a weird looking Asian dude in the Nissan Titan, his buddy in a Tacoma couldn't move him an inch so I dragged him out. But when I ask him where is the tow hook he just gave me a shrug and I don't know....WTF? He even stood around with his hands in the pockets. I was about to leave but his friends were nice. What's a douche!

Over all nice weather, helped out quite a few folks and most are very nice and thankful. One old Mexican guy even try to offer me money. Used my winch a bunch and it worked great!!!!! Yup this is the first time I tried it out. All my recovery gear except for the stretchy rope got tested out and worked great!!

Installed new window track seals in both front doors. Opened & cleaned the window motors. Opened & cleaned the master window switch (it's on its last legs). Installed a Crawlerado Hood Blackout vinyl wrap (1st time doing a vehicle wrap application, so we'll see how it goes). Removed 3rd row seats, brackets, associated hardware & seat belts in prep for a set of @cruzerDave KISS drawers. Prepped & painted the drawer fronts with spray on bed liner, cut & installed stainless locking T-handles.

Last week was a Koso temp gauge & @NLXTACY blue hub fan clutch install, and a dual USB charge port in place of a coin pocket on the center console.

Next up, is replacing a couple of power steering hoses, PHH, and a few other things I'm forgetting at the moment.

You Sir, have attained Superhero status. Nice work, you just added serious points to your karma bank.

View attachment 1427896 Found this sweet little spot in Moab. Had to pull in and grab a pic. Blended right in hahaha!
If you can get up high on the other side of the road you can see the lift back there where they wrench on them. I'm sure if you had a problem those folks would probably be able to help you out. Great to see the older trucks out there still in use.
