Changed the oil with some fresh rotella 5-40 and a Napa gold filter.

Went to the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum this morning. It's not an 80 but it's my dream Land Cruiser HZJ79. Perfection.

Worked on my brother's old 96 FJ80. The truck has been sitting a while since the damage was done, so I dropped by and got to work on it. I had to replaced the core support and drivers side inner fender. Now it all lines up nicely.

Started like this
Here is the inner fender replaced

And left it like his today

Just need to tidy up and put a good radiator in now since the old one cracked. Gotta get a better bumper too. It was nice to get his kids away from the tv long enough to help me work on the truck a bit.

This is my first post here on Mud btw.

Havent been pleased with my brakes lately. I attempted a flush but found that I couldnt get fluid through 3 of the 4 bleeders.

So this weekend I replaced all 5 of my bleeder screws (including the LSPV) with speed bleeders.

Then bled the brakes and got lots of fluid (and some air). Much better pedal now after about $30 and maybe 30mins of work.

My only complaint? The speed bleeders are 11mm. What? Who does that?
m10-1.0mm thread on the bleeder?

Not quite as deep as above, but we got some snow in San Diego county... ;)
Went up to the local mountains to check out the snow with the rest of San Diego...traffic jammed up there. People were just stopped on the side of the roads jumping over private property fences and sledding around. It was like woodstock or something.

Then we went to an actual day use area and campground where you are supposed to pay a whopping $5 to use the land legally and it was completely empty. We had the place to ourselves and instead dropped a $20 to support the National Forest service!

This might be the first purchase of an UnderDawg bumper where the customer actually got what they paid for... :flipoff2:
The amount of s*** talking by people that have no idea what they're talking about is astonishing ...

You're right it is funny pal.. feel free to pm me Ill give my phone number if you wanna talk for real.

Nah bro. But I suggest you check out the vendor section or do a few searches. There are quite a few people that would like to talk to you. I'm not one of them.

Managed to break a wheel stud (with another on the way) when I went to change out my rear pads. Thanks to the goon with the impact gun at my mechanic. 4 lug nuts were loose and two cross-threaded. So pissed.

So what is the part number for wheel studs? When I searched I kept finding the wrong kind. Thanks.

Really that's funny because here I am and all I hear is bs. I posted in the vendor section and no one has anything to say. Probably because anyone that was involved have long since been dealt with and taken care of. The rest of the shyt talkers like you have no idea what actually happened during that time. Sure there was a few people that I refunded but there was even more that were silent and completely satisfied with what they got from me. Over the past 2 years since I've been battling just to stay alive. I came on the siteam last for the first time in almost 2 years to see that there's people that I never even dealt with talking like the know something... pretty lame imo.

Do you have a spacer on top of the front J springs? Or are the rear Slee's mediums? Not as much stink bug as I would expect with your set up. I ask because I have a small collection of springs and your combo is one I have contemplated trying out.

Good to hear.
