Started to weld up my 4X4 Labs bumper, not without issues...

- One of the side panels was insufficiently bent during fabrication, causing 3/4" or larger gap from cap. Frame not and has not been tweaked, can't blame it on that... Still like the kit, however.
- Insufficient power in the garage only allowed for tack welds or 1/2 bead until breaker tripped. - Upgraded power in the garage
- Ran out of 75/25 for my welder.

This is a fun project, can't wait to get it done.

This weekend with the assistance of my buddy Mattnatti, I took care of the CEL: 0325 (Knock Sensor #1), by installing a splice.

Nice to have that darn CEL off for the time being.

What? It was more like you coaching me through the rear heater bypass.

Maybe we can get some other stuff done this weekend.

Yes! All of the above. Funny thing about axle rebuilds is that it is not all that hard just @##&^& messy and time consuming. But in the end well worth the effort. This one makes #2 for me.

I changed a bunch of fluids....the ones that aren't leaking...i was amazed to find my rear diff vacuum sealed and a full of golden oil...lovely...plugged her back up and topped her off...

Installed my gopro on my windshield, so I could capture awesome dash cam footage of stupid drivers on the road, and expedition footage ;)

With the help of Pete ( 94srunner ) I cleaned my battery terminals and watched him install a new upper hatch handle. Beat you to it Pete......hahaha. Thanks for coming by the garage today. I look forward to you getting the suspension.

checking new shock clearences, doetsch 8385 and 8386 replacinng edelbrocks which were too short for the 850j 860 springs. The travel works but I feel they are too soft for my set up compared to the edelbrocks I took off. Time to save for some custom valveable. These will work for the time being. The truck can get all the way on top of the jersey barrier...

^^^Thanks Matt!

Ripped into my front axle and knuckles. Replaced all the seals and bearings. Swapped the birfs. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. cleaning all the parts sucked!

I crashed an a****** who was speeding at an intersection. His doors got wrecked but my bumper just got... bumped and dented a bit lol.

Now I'm having a custom 5mm steel bumper made hahahaha.
