I've been working on some little things...
I got me a rusted Fj60 upgrade hood support.
Added a second battery... wating on the Bue Sea 7611 to get here.
Replaced needed exhaust mount.
And finally replaced contacts in starter.
I'm getting excited about Turf N Surf 2016 at Pismo Beach in a couple of weeks.
I've been working on some little things...

It's an Isotherm Cruise 36 Marine Refrigerator - test driving it on a 7 day desert trip next week!
I thought it looked familiar. A friend just finished an ~8 month trip with one.
For the record: a 1/2" breaker bar with a 1/2" drive 30mm socket will snap right in half when trying the bump method of loosening the crank shaft nut.
While I waited for my wife to picket up a 3/4" breaker bar and 3/4" drive 30mm socket I painted the front end trim...

lol...btdt when i was helping a friend do his. just be glad it didnt' get into the radiator when you were doing it. never did get that one loose....he just sold the cruiser instead. have another block in the garage with the infamous 700 ft lb torqued nut too.
i finally decided to retire my custom @woody approved mud shirt. the first time i wore it, i got 90 weight all over it when helping someone else fix his rear diff. woody said no more approvals, so since then, it's been a favorite garage shirt, but welding and front end jobs took it's toll. yesterday, the shoulder got caught under the jack stand.
Spent the weekend with a bunch of 4runners at The Cove in Virginia
Got down to business getting ready for the big pull. Engine hoist should be here tomorrow and if all goes well the engine should be out and ready for rebuild by next weekend. Can anyone tell me what to do with the AC condenser? Is there a way to get it out of the way without disconnecting the lines and alerting the EPA satellites?
It has not been documented enough times here. Only about a dozen times. Technically it's not your fault for using and breaking it.

I took the radiator out so I wouldn't FAWK it up! (It's only 6 months old so didn't want to risk it...) Nothing really to lose by trying it. I knew my wife was at Target right by HF. But it snapped it like a mother! Scared me a little bit. I'll post video once I get everything cleaned up.
HF didn't have a 3/4" breaker bar when my wife went there. They were sold out. So I used my 3/4" torque wrench and it popped loose right away with a 3/4" drive socket.
Listen, I'm used to a motor I never have to work on! And if I actually have to work on it I just need a pliers and screwdriver. Cut me some slack!

With regards to the shirt, it'll buff out.
The Cruiser had "trunk or treat" duty in our neighborhood yesterday. We did a Paw Patrol theme and tried to recreate Adventure Bay. Our little girl (dressed as Chase) loved it!
Read a for sale ad the other day for a 92 with the 3FE....huy said it was a great vehicle for beginners because of how slow it was! Wish I got a screen shot!

Been working on my new drawers the past two weekends. Hopefully finished this week.
Been toying with the idea of doing this ^ and was curious as to how it would look. I thought about using plastidip so I can easily remove if I don't like it. I think I would keep the TOYOTA a different color myself.
Got my new tires mounted on the factory wheels. Fit all 4 tires and the 4 stock wheels with mounted tires in the back. Wow what a night and day difference in the ride. First off steering is easier, I think this may be due to the 18s being underinflated (my fault). The only downside so far is the noticeable weight difference, these Falkens are HEAVY! Acceleration is slower now. But they look better and I feel better riding on them as opposed to the others.
Took our old mattress to the town recycle center on Saturday, was able to get it fit in the cruiser while keeping the 2nd row in.
Towed my Accord from my GF's parent's garage using a U-Haul tow dolly. It was a local 5 mile trip with only a little highway but man, the cruiser didn't miss a beat! Unfortunately as we were loading the car, we discovered the rear brake lines or line had ruptured.

Do you mind documenting your replacement of the crank shaft and oil pump seals? I plan to replace mine sometime soon as well.
