Oooh nice work on the metal spaghetti fab...are the two smaller hard lines coming from the BVSV up by the thermostat?

Just last night I was pulling vac lines and blowing through them to match where they end, and tape labeling each matching end. I am debating hard about deleting the metal spaghetti under the intake. I want it gone but might leave it just in case and just bypass it to make more direct fewer connections.
Next project is intake system/exhaust manifold refresh and send injectors out...and the air rail is coming out - full smog job.

Thanks and yes for they are for the bvsv, but I think I only need the one for the vsv for the charcoal cannister, I ran 2 though just in case.

What did you do with the VSV(and its wiring) for the FPR? Hard to see from the photo, is it on the front of the intake mani?
I eliminated it last year when I desmogged and have been running without it and no issues. IIRC it just bumps the fuel pressure a bit at cold start up, but mines a summer only rig and it runs perfect. I may hook it back up just to see if there's a difference.

Cool. I’ll maintain the charcoal canister and the FPR control lines. I have one vac hose that I can’t find the end too and little or no air passes through it...weird. Can’t wait to get the top side of this thing cleaned up.

Nice work.

Refreshed my interior.
Added noico 80mm sound deadening and 150mm insulation To doors and floor through-out.

in the process realized how broken my center console is... any ideas on a replacement?

my dash pad is cracked in 5 places so removed it. Gonna Polivance repair it. Stuff on order.

replaced speedo cable .... cannot verify if it works yet.

preassure washed all seats and throes belts in wasking machine.. what a difference.

fixed some wires. Added ambient lights to interior.

all in all, very satisfied..

oh, going to tackle cleaning the cold start injector and replace vacuum hoses Tomorrow.

I'm in over my head doing the same. Got a dash cap and seat covers coming, carpet and sound insulation waiting patiently in my garage until I get metal welded in on the floor boards.
Rust repair isn't easy.
I feel you man. What is your plan for the rear quarters and wheel wells?
I'm afraid of covering areas that may be hiding rust.

1. Drove rig to the local self serve car wash. Got two 👍👍 on the way there.
2. Went to local service shop to schedule appointment to smog the rig for 2021 California registration and complete the rear heater delete under the hood (not under the heater with a simple u turn where other problems can arise). Heater control valve will likely get replaced as well as any old hoses. Checking under the hood, the PCV valve is leaking so that repair will be added to the list. I learned today that very few local smog centers will smog check “vintage“vehicles. Hopefully It will pass without issues.
3. Put on a new car cover from Covermates at $150. It seems more durable than the $75 5-layer version from eBay which seems to last about a year before deteriorating.

Well, thank GOD no rust, so I covered it all with both materials.

I was gonna carpet the whole truck but I have a Shepard and he sheds tons...so I decided on getting a cargo liner for the rear. I used the same vinyl wheel covers. I’m not going to lie, if you r doing this yourself, it’s easy a week of work But it’s fun.

Just to let anyone who's interested know, the Lilly Brush is amazing for removing pet hair. My Nissan Leaf has the cheapest carpets ever and they are completely full of dog hair, impossible to remove. But that thing takes it right out. It does however remove some fibres from cheaper carpets so I'll minimize how often I do it.

I apparently stink at posting links from Amazon so I just copied the names from the two products I used. Search that on amazon. Hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch @Cincodemustache
It never occurred to me that the OEM bumpers were still available. Had my Toyota connection look into it. Also didnt realize 60 and 62 bumpers were different.

Either way....have them inbound.

Be warned, my wife is really angry at you
@Cincodemustache
I got mine too!
Thanks for the heads up
