Get a Malik’s electric chainsaw. They’re torquey
I see your from Phoenix, as a native Oregonian a Stihl saw is your best friend in the woods.

Back out on the WMA today and these Tennessee trees seem to be really tipsy. I drove under these yesterday and this morning but when I came back along the road after a couple of hours the trees had fallen a further. Too low to go under, too high to go over, but enough room to winch around. It was a slop fest.

Double lining the winch helped a lot in pulling my heavy (ca. 6500 lbs) FJ60 through the mud. The root ball kissed the driver's side rear door and pushed mud into the door handle. Had to reset the winch line once to make the turn around the root ball and re-align to reach the road.

:lol::lol:

I would need to carry two chainsaws because I have a bad habit with getting chainsaws bound when cutting. One to cut the tree plus one to cut the 1st chainsaw free.

“We’re in a hole... we’ve just got to dig our way out.” :woot:

A man in the woods without a saw is like a man without legs, just be careful what your cutting!

Replaced the 1 ton TREs from RuffStuff Specialties. I had to trim the steering rod TREs since my old ones were shorter than the newest selection from Ruffstuff. I also did the driveway alignment from the FAQ which worked like a charm to get the toe in correct instead of paying $160 bucks for an alignment at a local 4x4 shop

Another small cosmetic thing (one of these days I'll tackle something major). I repainted the sun-faded 4WD emblem on the back of the 60 series. Used a Testors Dark Blue paint pen. The color is perhaps slightly lighter and a little more 'electric' than the stock color, but looks close enough for my taste. I'll see how it dries out over time and maybe go back over it with something darker if needed. Looks better than it did anyway.

Pen I used. The cap is a better match than the actual paint. It may darken up once it dries. The above shots were taken just after applying and cleaning up:
