Went to Golden Spike in Promontory Utah. Stopped by a rocket display at ATK. And drove nearly to Kelton (the opposite side of the Great Salt Lake from SLC).
The 60 rides better on gravel than typical Utah pavement. 55 on gravel for 60 miles like it was an interstate.

Another 60 in Utah! How were the roads out there? I've been wanting to go explore around the Newfies, just worried about road conditions.

I sold my early ARB winch bumper to another member a few weeks ago and picked up a second gen (?) non-winch ARB for my 60.

I'm not a fan of the marker lights that showed up as regulations changed and even less of a fan of paying $50+ for a cheap set of replacements; they were MIA from this recent bumper.

So I took on a fun little rainy Sunday project to make some blanks. I bought a small sheet of 1/8" Lexan from Lowe's along with some necessary stainless hardware and semi gloss black paint.

Took rough dimensions and cut the blanks then went to work sanding them down (by hand) for a perfect fit!

For the $10 and ~1 hour of time I am extremely pleased with the results.

How about that desert wildflower bloom this weekend! I took a run up to Summerhaven Saturday morning. Flower show up to about mile marker 5 was spectacular. The higher elevations are still in the grip of winter. It was around 40 and rainy up there.

It was amazing! Saturday morning we hiked to 7 Falls in Sabino Canyon. It was as crowded as I’ve ever seen it, not a single parking spot available.
Last weekend I went up to Summerhaven. It was sunny, but COLD! I made the mistake of wearing shorts too.

Gorgeous!

Saturday I just trekked down to Marshall Gulch and back up to Summerhaven. Fortunately I took the right attire as I got rained on for the last third of it. Still loved it.

Left Wednesday night and got back on Sunday from a few days on the Kentucky Adventure Tour. I had trailer problems 30 miles from home so I unloaded the cruiser and hit the road from Memphis to Slade Kentucky. Round trip this past weekend was right around 1100 miles, and probably 700 miles two weeks ago from a weekend camping trip in Arkansas. No hiccups besides a broken driver's side engine mount.

Our group somewhere on the KAT

Finally finished up my fuse panel project. Took way too long due to my schedule mostly but finally got it squared away. Got some nice sealed cables for the panel that my man @Fourrunner made for me, sort of as an add on to his Battery Cable set he makes. Had to custom make me some very specific cables with various lengths and ends on them to integrate a circuit breaker into this setup. His cables turned out great and really cleaned up my electrical bay. Only one accessory for now (trailer light controller) but hope to get my driving lights wired up now that I have a place to power them. Thanks again @Fourrunner.

After fiddling with the front half of the exhaust so much I took it in for a custom stainless y-pipe and tailpipe using a Walker 21424
quiet flow SS muffler. I’m really happy with the results and it was great work for the price. Should have done it a lot sooner!

Luckily the exhaust was the only questionable work that the previous owner had done.

Would you mind showing I pic of that box opened up? I have a fusible link that is enclosed in a Tupperware type box installed by a PO with dual batteries and and Chevy 5.7 that is driving me crazy. That looks like it could be a great eye sore solution. TIA

Working on getting the interior back together. Figuring out how to mount the speakers in the rear doors (in place of the ash tray).
