Tail gate of the FJ60 was a portable field lab while we weighed, measured, and PIT tagged a bunch of eastern indigo snakes prior to releasing them in the forest of S Alabama.

@TheNeek How did you mount your awning? Which brackets did you use? Thanks. Great pics by the way, looks like a good weekend!

So I have to go pick up some parts down in the U.S. Built this cooler/potable water/storage rack for the 80 series axle Im picking up. Took me 2 hours to build. Not a bad for a morning project. Now I can go on family adventures and buy more junk. WAHOOO!

don't take me wrong...i like to joke around...but damn... thats ugly! and honestly - i don't think 6 inches is going to matter.... some shins are gonna get whacked.

does look like it could also function as a grill to cook on over a fire.

Replaced GND cable from battery to chassis/GND points

WHO the HECK thought putting it under the AC compressor was smart?

Baka yaro~~~~

>_<

Dam I should have left the tremclad off of it. The I could have used as a grill. BTW: Its functional, maybe not in a cross ditch world but having a cooler/generator/water jugs loose in the back of your truck is asking for trouble. But yes, I would have to agree on the shin hack level 10. When the rack is not in use I will disconnect its as it only takes 30 seconds.

Now its time to look at your mad skills :)

Just looked for your mad skiils and there doesn't seem to be anything that you've built other than just bolt on. So...... straight outta the peanut factory I see. Cruisedeisel one. Paul Zero

oh come on now...lets not turn this into a war. I meant it all in good fun - you don't need to go trolling my profile for my lack of mad skills...i'll tell you straight up they ain't there!!

Cruisediesel +1 indeed!

I appreciate very much that you built that yourself. i truly wish i had welding skills and could fabricate stuff...i dont have the skills or the space. I admire anyone that has skills to make stuff with their own hands.

i did make these tho... this is not "bolt on" - still a work in progress though.

The weekend ain't over yet and neither is this weekend's project... should be back together by tonight.

Added front, rear and side/under protection... in my area that is primarily from chitty drivers - so multi-purpose. Rear bumper and sliders I'm certain were fab'd by a mud member but I haven't located the build thread - I got them from someone who had purchased the CO rig. I kept the ammo cans, painted them OEM dark grey metallic (along with the side mirrors - painted as test runs before painting the fender awhile back).
