I removed the CD changer to make room for a HAM, and installed an antenna.

Overheight garage door, you can fit through the door with a box on the roof! Sweet!

RE: your ham mount bracket: is that off the shelf from like a radio shack or a specific mount, or custom? looks clean and low profile.

PLUS, nice canoe storage, well used overhead space.

Thanks! All 3 of my garage doors are extra height, I don't think I could go back to a standard door after living in this house. Those pics are in my separate garage/shop in the backyard. It is awesome for working on projects and storing toys (like the Canoe). After 6 years in the house, I still need to add lighting in the shop...

As for the mount, I assume you are talking about the antenna mount. I bought it from Amazon for around $6. It did require drilling 2 holes for screws on the inner side of the fender, but it works for me. It is low profile, and simple to install. I had the coax connection soldered on last night, and tested the antenna with my HT. I was able to hit a repeater 20 miles away with crystal clear audio. I chatted with a friend that lives 50 miles from me that can hit the same repeater from his house.

I hand washed the GX real well and looked it over and found some bumps and scrapes I've not noticed before. It's back to its original color instead of a tan or grayish white.

I really like this vehicle.

I treated myself for father's day haha. I changed to the clear turn signals 08+ tail lights and painted the bulbs silver to achieve a "stealth" look. when looking at the tail lights, all you see is silver. When they light up you see amber. I liked it enough I also did it to the leaf and the civic. I also finally flushed the power steering fluid and got all the dark Toyota WS out of there in favor of Valvoline Maxlife ATF. Now the fluid is cherry red and full synthetic again.

Yes sir, I think they were $140/each from Lexus of South Atlanta. I bought some other odds and ends at the same time in preparation for my future rear locker, including the 08+ mirror switch bezel.

After relocating the spare tire to the rear bumper, I wanted to find a good use for the old spare location. So I removed the old spare tire hardware from underneath and bolted in a rotopax L bracket I had sitting around instead. Now my Fuelpax sits up there perfectly and out of the sun. I'll move it before any major off-roading, but it works great for now. Can't even see it from behind.

I think the newer taillights look so much better. Been wanting to do this too. All the light sockets work fine with the newer tails?

Yep! They are a bolt on changeover. The only difference is that while the 03-07(?) use a clear 7440 turn signal bulb, the later housings use an amber colored bulb (7440A). I didn't want the amber tainting the silver/clear turn signals so I painted the bulbs.

Those tails look good, good call on the detail of silvering the bulbs!

Hey, where's all the dust in your garage? I live in he desert too, but I can't keep it off my life ;)

Hahaha it requires constant cleaning to get the dirt out, especially after the monsoons!

well not really today, but today & tomorrow = timing belt, water pump, and other stuff that goes with this, plus a 250Amp alternator, new positive and neg cables added (0 &1/2 gauge welding cable), fixed a leaking axle boot and new radiator (found small leaks in the old one)
