What did you do to your pig today?

Wheeled the wee out of it for a couple of days. Broke the front locker fork, pulled both thirds to swap forks. Worked great for the rest of the ten day trip. Finally broke the trans crossmember after wheeling iceman, Hal johns, t-back, full monkey and Kong in SD. On the trailer half way back to IL now.

Went and got one more Pig gastank...too dark for pics now, but I've got 3 Pigtanks leaning up against the Pickle, will put one of them in TWRECKS tomorrow.

Where did you get this tank? Is it identical to the one you pulled out?

From Terry, out of Brian Steen's old Pig...that Royal used to own. It's a '74, identical to my old tank and in remarkably good condition inside. Even got the vapor separator and the little hoses. Putting it in now.

Edit: I've never seen these stickers before...

be extra careful when entering your rig. there is more room and one may become complacent when doing the final jumping step up onto the seat....you dont want to end up with 5 staples in your head and a hum dinger of a headache. like I did:doh:, but the freedom is spectacular, Just gotta lock everything down or only carry stuff you dont mind missing. Still, I'm going forward with the sub half door I'm cookin up.

I did the same thing in high school, with my El camino. I was too quick to drop in, ended up with a nice gash and a fractured skull courtesy of my gutter!

What mirrors are you running with the doors off?

I ran motorcycle mirrors for years, but now im running a telescoping 40 series mirror. I think it is from ccot, but im not sure (po of the 63 bought it).

Zip tied to the hinge. :hillbilly:

wheeled spring creek and had to drag a dead jeep through. had to go up to get to an area where we could get it turned around to go down. this involved a narrow steep climb up a wet trail of loose rock. the ledge was waaaaayyyyyy tooooo close for comfort and it was a bit hair raising at times...
