Nice... Looks super clean also...

How many miles? Interior pics?

You will hard pressed to find any used vehicle aside new in better condition. It does have a crack in the dash (very common) but is hidden by the dash mat. Retractable hidden running boards along with other aftermarket options making it family friendly and wife approved. Mileage is 180K, standard CTD are said to be good for 500K this has the optional H.O. motor (only available with the 6sp IIRC) with more factory HP and Torque is said to be good for 1 mil. This is the top of the food chain given its year. We call it the White Monster.....

Just go to the monitor controls, turn the RED color know all the way to OFF or zero and you'

Ekk I find all this red stuff on the back of the engine WTF.:bang: A plastic T connector has the same red stuff on it. I touch it and now I have 2 piece and engine blood running out, great! Out comes the plumbing box and some copper fittings and we are good to go in short time. I ended up making 2 copper T so I can replace the other plastic T in the near future.

Engine degreasers will get you every time ... part failed outside in, I'd guess the largest crack where it's broken was on the lowest pointy side.

Hey all! It's been a long time, but I just bought a new battery and new tires for my FZJ80 last week. It feels so nice with new treads! I'm itching to hit a run with you guys!

I've been having some overheating issues since last summer. I flushed the cooling system, dropped in a new thermostat, and installed a new Aisin green hub fan clutch. Just to keep an eye on things, i also added a digital temp gauge.

I also pulled a rats nest of wires from the old Viper alarm system some PO installed.

Mike, those drawers look fantastic. When does production start? Great workmanship.!!!!

Where did you get the digital temp gauge and good looking piece that the sensor goes into?

I ordered both off of Amazon. The gauge is the Koso slim temp gauge, and the adapter is a 38mm Blox adapter. I think I would recommend a 40mm for the 3FE 80s for a better fit.

After driving to Flagstaff this weekend, I couldn't be happier with this mod for my truck. I would recommend this to anyone who can't use a scangauge.

I do like that temp gauge - thanks for sharing. I'd be interested in what people's temperature ranges are like? I am driving a hundy and my ultra gauge as been as high as 199F this summer since I changed my water pump, hoses, thermostat and of course including a full coolant flush. I am contemplating getting a new OEM radiator but the one in there now is pretty new - but I am not sure its OEM. Seeing my temp gauge move past 190F is a concern to me, seems like its on the high side?

But maybe I am just being a sissy and this is reasonable in 100+ F ambients? Any of you fellow AZ 80 and 100 owners have temps to share?

Mine seems to stay around 190, but did climb to 203 on climbs with the air conditioning on. I could hear my fan clutch kick in and temps would drop right back down.

I have an aftermarket radiator that the PO put in. I would love to have an OEM, but they quit making them for the 3FEs.

185-208 today - with a S/C

while driving, the LX stays under 200, but idling at a light with the A/C on . . .

Our 99' 100 series has never seen over 200° even towing or setting at the border for 3 hours in 113° temps. I never worry about temps in the 100 series. I will see it close to 200° but Im coming out of Bartlett lake (steep) pulling 5000lbs in 110°+ running 3600rpm. Without question a much better cooling and AC system over the 80 series.
