What is the BB thing?

Let me know when the ladder arrives:cheers: I have been on the fence about ordering one since they became available.

Moly Holy - I found out about something LCP didn't already know of - what's this world coming to??? ha.....BB thing here.

Ladder - will do. Brian with Axxis Off Road is trying to chase Gobi down for me. Hoping to have an update on Monday....

Gobi website isn't even currently listing anything for FJ80's at all.....hence the background efforts (I also directly sent them an email). We'll see....I'll share what I find.

Hoe does the bottom mount to the hatch?

Changed out the old broken sunroof and the headliner and interior trim is all getting a bath. Also installed rear seats and cargo area carpet. This cruiser is going to be pretty clean when I am done with it...

Guys at the shop got the ironman 4 inch springs and ome long shocks installed. They're putting the 315s on then it's over to desert tool aka the spa to dial everything in.

What is the name of the shop?

My brother in law builds custom trucks out of his private (well equipped!) shop over in Gilbert. Fancy 1950-1960 Fords and Chevys, some frame off and lots of fix and flips. He sells them at Barrett Jackson and other auctions and on the interweb.
It's Called Fat Fender Garage; He also stores my FJ40s. I sneak in some work over there, meaning when I can I hoodwink his techs into working on my TEQ stuff. It's worth a tour if you like the classic trucks.

I sent my LX to Camelback Toyota for some head gasket love. Thank you Murf, you guys are fantastic!

put on a new front air hose/tube to relace the cracked one....it was giving me hesitation issues. Had already replaced the rear tube/hose.

Found a nice sized puddle under my new (to me) 96 80 series. Thanks and props to Kevin and John for replacing the hose that seemed harder to fix than the PHH!
Also thanks for diagnosing a *hammered* u-joint in the front drive shaft. It's cool that once all of the needle bearings are gone, the joints use the lack of grease and the accumulated rust to round out the inside of the bearing caps. Only on 2 of the 4 sides of the cross though.
Turns out that was the vibration at 75+mph. Sans front drive shaft, it's smooooth at 80 and beyond!

Lastly, thanks for the ridicule about the following:
car smells like weed inside, door locks like to lock and unlock at random, wires and heater ducts fall on your feet when driving, the wrong-color steering wheel contains horn and airbag and cruise that don't work, cluster lens (glass over the gauge cluster) is missing (gives a nice 3D effect to the gauges) High beams don't work. Oh, and tail light guards and serious bull bar out front.
