Got my front clip done awhile ago, now I just need to get this bumper wrapped up. I only have limited time to work on it between work, school and family stuff. It's redneck fabulous right now and I can't stand it.

Stan ripper job on the seat heaters. They'll be ready just in time for summer! :)
 
Thanks Ben. I'm absolutely thrilled with the seats and heat-troller set up for the heating elements. Gotta thank @Pacer for planting that seed in my brain! Everything works like a charm and I've got better control over the seat temp than any stock set up. And yes, just in time for the warmer weather:rolleyes:.

Now, if I can just figure out the cooled seat idea....
 
Are you certified to do that???

When I worked at the dealer when the Prius was new, you had to be certified by Mr T to change out a battery.

We missed The Prez on our run today...eleven rigs!

My Prius has 190k miles. I don't think Toyota cares any more what I do with it ;)

I bought the battery at Advance. It is reconditioned, and carries a 3 year warranty.

Adds to $36/month which I am now budgeting into my gas money. New Toyota only has a 1 year warranty, although granted it would probably last longer.

The Pruis was an experiment. I needed something better on gas than my 4Runner, and I wanted to learn more about hybrids. I picked it up pretty cheap.

Knowing what I know now, I would probably recommend a Civic to someone in the same situation, although the Prius has been an outstanding car.

Made some good headway this weekend on being fully locked front and rear!
Installed the ARB locked thirds with 4.11 gears front and rear.
Also completed the unenviable task of rebuilding and repacking the front knuckles. God, I forgot how messy that job is.
New rotors, pads, gaskets, seals, etc...
Thanks to my oldest son, we got it all buttoned up this afternoon. Only thing left is to plumb the air lines from the solenoids and hang the OBA tank from the bracket he made for us in shop at school this week! Those school taxes are finally starting to pay dividends!:D
