I definitely need to tuck in that exhaust, there's plenty of room to do so. Williamson Co. tests for emissions so I can't delete the cat converters. Diesel conversion is WAY out of the budget, although it sure would be nice!

REALLY digging those steelies! Very nice look. Love your rig. Let me know your impressions on those KM3s. I'll be needing new tires within the next 6 months very likely and these are at the top of my list. What size did you go with?

Thanks! These are 275/70R18s. They fit and look fine but they look small to me, probably because I've never run 18" wheels before. The ride so far is good, and they were fine in this AM's heavy downpour and flooded streets. We'll see how they hold up on a short hunting trip this weekend.

Live in ATX close by, Balcones Village /Golf Course. Daily and hunting & ranching & hauling lawn equipment for 10 years. Scratched up more than yours by far but no desire for paint when I'll be right back out there and can't park in my home garage. 198k. Just did plugs, not bad, timing belt et al. all brakes, controls arm etc. Door actuators (are a B*tch) and rebuilt cable with JBWeld. I baby my driver door lock . Key ignition. Has a few clicks clacks & thunks. Not going to do heater tees for now because they look real good. Cleaned engine & underneath pretty good. Finally a new Sony. And did a quality paint for my wheels. Have some rust colorization near battery panel. Going to try some homemade remedies and was told to put on some SC1 spray

Todos. considering a lift done by LCS by Pacific Star. They share good advice for DYIers too. before or after going from 265 70s to 285 75s. Love to meet for coffee and check out anyone's in ATX and share what we've run in to. rlwptrsn@yahoo.com

Diesel? (If you hold true-to-form)

Diesel? (If you hold true-to-form)
No diesel, my previous conversion experience was not what I expected, so I'm sticking to the my much-loved 2UZFE.

Looks like you made the trip successfully! Looking forward to the progress.

I should get motivated on getting the wheels over here...

@Exiled Your truck looks awesome. I love the color, I love the steelies, I love the snorkel, I love the bumper and grille. Keep it up.
