If I ever get this uzj up and running we need to organize a leaderthal fun run up to Hidden Falls. Speaking of ... is there a LC group here in Austin/central Texas?
OK, small progress. Got a notification that my tires (BFG MTs) are shipping so had to get the wheels sorted out. I dropped them off at the powdercoater this afternoon. View attachment 1722574

Unfortunately, the new wheels are at the powder coater for a while, so I had to stash these in the garage. I will keep everyone posted, pretty excited to get the new KM3s!

Called Research Boulevard. I moved here in '88. Things have changed TONS since then. Heck, MOPAC ended at Research Boulevard and you had to go through about 1,000,000 traffic lights to get from I35 to Cedar Park back then.

Got my Tundra steelies back, and the guy nailed the powdercoating. Just the right shade of "Third World-spec" grey that I was looking for! I'm going to take the wheels and tires to get mounted and balanced tomorrow.

Next step, get the front bumper fixed, blasted and powder-coated and add the winch that's been in the garage for longer than I care to admit. I will post pictures again soon.
it is nice debating the color and such but something you should consider is deleting the cat converters or change to diesel so you don't start a fire while out in the tall grass.
