Both are still available. Your parts come from Jacksonville depot. Both of these are in stock there. Confirmed.

Going on four weeks and still waiting on the LH sun visor. Hmmm ....

Well you should contact who you bought your parts from?

Nearly every week ;)

I ordered a fair amount of stuff for my three Toyotas including the 1978 FJ40. For whatever reason, the visor gets lost in the shuffle. The dealership's internet parts guy ain't the most diligent cat. Oddly, I get a 25 - 33% discount ordering via the internet side of this dealership.

If you are ordering locally (in FL) then they are lying to you. Jacksonville has one each of these visors.

I pounded the Germain Toyota dealership guy again.
:deadhorse:

And, he sends me this mea culpa "I apologize I haven't given you a call. I checked and it is here."

For the geeks....

How much? Would they fit my '77?

Cost? Maybe One of the gurus can chime in on fit?

If you need all 4 gauges, it'd be far more economical to buy a new gauge cluster with a km odometer, and swap out the odometer from your existing unit.
There has to be a source for a new MPH speedometer for an 1980 FJ40 somewhere. Some "Sherlock" needs to find it.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask my question. So don't be hard on me :)

I'm looking for the headlight trim ring for a Fj40 I believe part number is 81516-35010. I found in ebay FJ40 HEADLIGHT TRIM RING WITH SCREWS OEM 81111-89117 do you experts know if this will fit a 75?

I just bought a bunch of the trim rings, let me check the part #(which I think was 81111 89117) when I am back at the house, like $10 each, I may gave ordered fj60 rings because they are the same as a late 40, I kinda forget. I can't think of what would be different on a 75...but I don't have a 75

the screws I think show up NLA, but I got some from Toyota that work(well they should)

I don't think 81111 98117 will fit, I think the early to 78 must use the thicker ring than latter models(which are same as a fj60) But I swear I just had the rings off the 77 and they were the same as the 79+

here a comparison(used 81111 98117 ring) to the ring on my 65 fj45, the early one is a good bit deeper, the latter I don't think would work, but have not tried.

But it looks like the earlier ones are NLA. About a million cars use 7" round headlights, I bet there is a substitute out there, maybe even another Toyota model.

newer model rings

these should be the screws for the latter ring, they look about right ;)
