I have a few 20 ton shop presses to get rid of.

I'm on my 3rd ×6 screwdriver. I use it over my abundance of snap on screwdrivers everyday!
I guess I have moved over from Craftsman to Kobalt lately, due to Lowe's being close by - - but I have enjoyed every Kobalt tool I have bought so far with the exception of the 6x speed wrenching drive screw driver that is a mush of gears vs the 2x.

I should test their new lifetime warranty on it . . .

I might have got a bad one! The 2x is so smooth and works so well.

After the posts about the small impacts being super useful, I've been using them more and more in my shop.

Goes to show you can't just buy the tool, you have to learn how and more importantly WHEN to use it

I got this kit a couple of years ago. It's amazing the battery life and quick recharge times. I use the impact every time I'm in the garage. Just have to be careful with the smaller fasteners, ~120ft lbs will snap an M6 in a hurry.

Makita 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Combo Kit (2-Piece)-XT248R - The Home Depot

Bonus, they dropped the price $50 for this kit. I added a reciprocating saw and flashlight, but there are a TON of compatible devices for this platform:

that's the same one I have, although mine is in their black and white color combo

Is that version brushless as well? Reason I ask, is I understand that that technology is a contributor to longer battery life (it makes sense) and I was curious to hear if it really is much difference. I spent the extra coin on it, so I'm guessing not :D

What's So Great About Brushless Motors?

It's been a while since I have done this.

The Tool-Bread

No bread so I used a bagel, un toasted
Stuff as much bagel as the void will allow in the hole
compress with dowel/bolt (smooth no threads) of same size

Keep adding bagel until it pops out

I'll leave it to @Rice to explain scientifically
I'd call it hydraulic pressure

After which time you have to insert the SST bread puller to get your bagel out. :hillbilly:

Nah, toasted it with a MAP and put jelly on it :)

Used this trick on my old motor when it was out of the truck in the garage, caught Splash the next day nippling at the crankshaft. Only Labs man....

I'm looking for my first welder and came across this Eastman on another thread. The reviews (Mud, weldingweb, etc.) seem pretty good and critics tend to be professional welders who say it won't hold up like a Lincoln or a Miller, but I think its made for the hobbyist. When we built 15 years ago, I put a 220V in the garage for my table saw. I can't remember if I used 10 or 12 gauge romex, but my tablesaw hasn't had any issues.
