It sure would be nice to have all the same tires and wheels so you could interchange if ever needed.

To John's point - what size. And for clarity, they're not cheap - I'd rather spend the money on a water system, or a solar system..

^^ You could always hang out at your trailer if you blow two tires on a trail that way!

Running similar tires to your trail buddies does pay off. I drove home from Skyline Alabama (near Scottsborough) with my spare on my buddy's truck. He had two flats within a couple hours. Happened on Sunday, no way we'd have found anything till Monday.

No problem. Have one of each spare in storage (In addition to the one you already have on each rig), and then build a swingout for the trailer. Swap out which spare is on the trailer according to which tow rig you are using. Now you also have a place for some jerry cans (water) and an extra cooler mount. I'm so helpful. :D

Seriously, my thought regarding going to 6 lug was less about spares and more about how cool a couple 80 wheels would look on the trailer. If they happen to match the tires on just one of your rigs then great.

But the swingout .... that'd me cool too.

It's more about having to carry less spares IMHO. If all vehicles have different diameter tires then each vehicle needs it's own spare, especially if the wheel mounting patterns are different.

Either way, make sure to keep a spare for your trailer on the trailer and make sure that you're not exceeding the weight capacity of the tires!

Yeah - the trailer has a spare already, I'll be sure and get 3 matching. I'll need to change the mounting location with a larger tire. I'm leaning toward 31's since I'm fairly certain they'll clear the fenders without modification.

Swingout would be cool, but it's a ramp trailer - I have a feeling it'd be a LOT of work fabbing something that works as a swingout but doesn't get in the way of the ramp.

Post up a pic of the trailer .... so we can REALLY spend your money:

Tha't's a pretty cool enclosure = where did you find that?

Here's an identical one to mine available on Craigslist - with added bumps and dents that mine doesn't have. Same size, configuration, etc.

2013 Leonard Enclosed 5x12 V-Nosed Cargo Trailer

Oh snap, it's enclosed!! Yeah, can't exactly flip that over, lol.

So I found a source direct from China for the foxwing awning and the enclosure.

With shipping, it's cheaper than just the american sourced foxwing. Working out timing and details.

Will the trailer have a polk surround sound system? and will it include the two rear satellite speakers?

And will the trailer be named Clarice?

Actually thought long and hard about a sound system, but to be honest I really like the sound I get out of my little bluetooth speaker. Seems to be good enough. At least until I decide this is a tailgating thing, and install an outdoor TV... ;)
35's or 36's would be my call.

Would look kinda silly being towed by the 40 with 33" wheels....

The outside fold down or slide on prep/kitchen table is a must.

$$$ Mo Money $$$ :D

That little speaker you have is cool, loud enough to entertain those close around but not loud enough to annoy those a couple camp sites away.
