I put it on the trailer to take it to the stereo shop and had a pretty noticeable 1" lean so I swapped sides with the springs and it's about 1/4" now which I can live withGood taste in suspensions showing through.
Yep. They are not standard for a GXR but we both prefer them over the 16" alloys that it came withthe wheels are staying, right?
1000000%I know it's kinda nerdy but the things that stand out to me the most (Other than the 1FZ-FE) are the normal brake booster/master cylinder and the stick shift. It really seems like the most analog a 100 can get. Beautiful. Also a big fan of the steelies (But I'm biased there)
This truck is incredible. Bring it up to Petit Jean Mountain showground on Saturday, May 23rd to the Toyota Truck Show and Contest. We need plenty of 100 series representation.I put it on the trailer to take it to the stereo shop and had a pretty noticeable 1" lean so I swapped sides with the springs and it's about 1/4" now which I can live with

The non-ABS, non-AHC plumbing/master cylinder, stick shift, etc. all were big selling points for me buying a Saudi 100 - regardless of trim level. I almost wish I got the GX vs. VXR but I wanted a V8 with man trans and my wife wanted hatch/tailgate rear door. Still running stock alloys but....time will tell. Also have a 1FZ-FE waiting for me in Canton - definitely looking forward to more power and no EGR. The big 6 lasts a lot longer in Saudi than US version of the 1FZ.I know it's kinda nerdy but the things that stand out to me the most (Other than the 1FZ-FE) are the normal brake booster/master cylinder and the stick shift. Nah you just like selling s***.For anyone contemplating one of these, my experience with @Meshal has been the same. I couldn't have said it better. Now on my second truck.
Watching this thread makes me wonder if my 80 was the right answer. I really love this 100.
I went back and forth between Saudi versions of 80 and 100 as a daily driver and while I love 'dem 80s, the 100 VXR was the right path for me.For anyone contemplating one of these, my experience with @Meshal has been the same. I couldn't have said it better. Now on my second truck.

Hah. Some truth there. I like acquring and having s*** built. The selling just sort of happens when it's time for the next one.Nah you just like selling s***.
With all that’s going on in the Gulf, market prices for clean on the ground rigs are likely to trend upward. At least for Saudi rigs like ours. Just my 2 cents…Hah. Some truth there. I like acquring and having s*** built. The selling just sort of happens when it's time for the next one.
If you know anyone willing to pay what I have in my 80 send em. I will likely get a long partnership with my 80 before that happens...
