That's as far as I got. I had the dump trailer hooked up to do landscaping this weekend. It's got emptied so I wheeled it up to my scrap pile(s) and filled it up.

Ran out of juice after loading all that s***. I bet it's 4000# of s***.

My wife would want to go through that trailer to make sure you’re not throwing away anything important.
😁

Nolen,
Carolyn is always eager to intercept cash from finding a way into my hands. It is great to know that she is not alone. Thanks for the post, plus I am impressed with how much you had stock piled.

…hey, an entire 2025 Landcruiser only weighs in at 5,000 pounds! what else were you hiding in that trailer? a Prius?
70 series lead springs are so heavy.

Went to Louisiana this am. Dropped a 40. Picked up a 40.

Got back, finished up the passenger knuckle. New OEM brake lines.

Added a new set of tie rods from @cruiseroutfit. Such a civilized way to do new TREs.

Aligned it. Painted the 555s.

Headed to Houston tomorrow to pick up two more Saudi Cruisers. I'll finish one up Friday.

Went and picked up Saudi trucks. Dropped a 40 in Louisiana and picked up another one then yesterday the owner of the Troopy came and spent 4 hours with me making a plan so I finally got to finish the 70 this morning

Oh and we went and got more plants.....

Plants to camouflage the extent of the Cruiser collection? Or to provide a jungle setting appropriate for the Cruiser collection?

Will the FZJ70 be a permanent member of your family this time?

Finished up with all of the fluids. Flushed the PS, brakes and clutch.
IMG_5739.webp

Love the simplicity of the 1FZ-F
IMG_5740.webp

Got the Koitos installed.
IMG_5741.webp

Replaced the dented up bumper with the clean one that was on his 75 and hooked up some OEM fog lights
IMG_5743.webp

Finished up. I think we will get a stereo installed before this one heads back to Yankee land.

Many thanks to @wngrog for fine tuning another Land Cruiser for me. Also much appreciation to @Fourrunner for making me his custom , high quality FZJ70/75 heavy duty battery cables, and @cruiseroutfit for having and supplying the steering components required for this truck!! You guys are the BEST 🍻

We shall call her SADIQI 🤘
Figured this truck needed a name….Will have to double check with @Meshal, but as my grandfather always used this word to describe his friends when he lived in Saudi Arabia. “SADIQI” (sah-dee-kee) translates in Arabic to mean “good friend”

It is/was also the name of a rum based (IIRC) moonshine made by expats in KSA starting maybe in the 50s? My wife was there as a teenager in the eastern province in the 70s and remembers adult conversation about Sadiqi.

Great memories of Middle East/Arab hospitality here...

I have an old recipe for the “blue flame” that the people from Aramco used to make spirts back in the day.
