Beep, beep, beep...

My 100 series bracket landed today for the Scheel-Mann I pulled out of my FZJ70 when I put it up for sale.

It really fits in nicely with the stock gray interior and the 60% passenger seat and cup holder armrest.

I got my 100 back from the stereo shop earlier in the week but I'm finally getting to take it out.

The Scheel-Mann is sweet. It sits a bit higher than the stock seat. I am going to get some Slee step sliders so I can get up in this bitch better.

The power antennae switch was not working so they put it on a separate switch for me. (Center button)

ScheelMann heater switch.

USB with volt meter

This is the same head unit I had in the 70 and currently have in my 80. Pro clip mount.

The greatest news is they used @wardharris intel on the speed ding and removed it and the loud ass key chime

Man…..

I want that tape deck back in it…

Too much tech
I got over that a long time ago. No one cares about OEM cruiser geek s*** but us.

Good to hear. Digging the clean ProClip / charger install.

My VXR seats are comfy but not Scheel Mann comfy. Cannot figure out stock fabric colors that will work with my cloth interior.

Ran this thing almost out of gas again trying to pin down my reserves.

I think it's 130 liters between the two tanks. Roughly 35 gallons.

Very good local pizza for lunch.

I ordered some Slee Sliders today and the shipping guy told me he would not be able to send until mid November even with them being ready due to all the s*** they have sold lately. I'm always happy to hear my buddies at @sleeoffroad are doing well.

In the mean time I added the factory steps back on so I can use them to mount this ScheelMann properly.

My PS fluid had some bubbles in it recently. It started whining a bit. Generating air sowewhere.

I did a full bleed ritual on it this afternoon and removed a little excess fluid.

I'm going to let it sit overnight and see if that fixes it but I'm not sure what would make it start doing that. There are no leaks.

Bummer.

I should have left it alone moaning but now that I bled it out it's going immediately to bubbles in the system and now I don't have any PS assist at all.

Time to order parts. 🤯

mostly the reservoir filter is not good. get a new reservoir

You think that's all it is? Makes me wonder where the air is coming from.

$200 shipped from Partsouq. I'll try that first. Why not. Easier than a pump.

Not sure what filter you are talking about. Is there one in the reservoir?

The reservoirs have a screen in them. People have taken them apart and cleaned them, but I’ve never tried.

I can't imagine how that would introduce air. I'm going to get a pump and new gear headed my way as well.
