If I get motivated and the rain stops I can try a test fit in my '94. There are some markings on the back if I recall.

I appreciate it

Pics? I'm looking to upgrade my OEM's and I like the look Depos. I'm not a fan of the halo's. They look great a OEM on my Range Rover. But I think a 90's Rig looks stupid with these Euro/Modern headlights. The Depos are a clean looking slice between. IMO of course :flipoff2:

I'm a bit confused on the "retro" kits, HID and Projectors talk. The Depos appear to come ready to install standard Halogen bulbs. I'm assuming that the retro kits will allow for HID bulbs? LEDS? Where do you get these? The projectors are a separate up grade all together. Correct? So, is the harness' spoke of as well?

I understand that I can get the Depos and the Harness', but how do the HID and projectors work with that combo?

With the Depos, what are people doing for the corner lights? I prefer those clear lens ones that I see around on this site.

Please advise.

D2S 3.0 on the outside with Mini H1 7.0's on the inside. Definitely work to do but very happy with the outcome. Wiring is easy with the Morimoto harnesses. Think it looks pretty clean.

Susquehanna motorsports website is rallylights.com. when I got my depos there were 2 harness options. The slee and susquehanna.

Ray at susquehanna designed and built a harness that lights both hi and low beams when in high. The harness itself is very beefy compared to the slee.

Call them and ask for ray. He will set you up.

Ray is recently retired and Tom is the guy I talked to there. He'll hook you up. Turn around time was very good and IIRC the harness cost me about 180$ shipped. I'm hoping to get the DEPOs swapped in over the next week or so. Been rolling around with a shot out passenger side stock headlight for a year plus now. Lights still work but they're not sealed any more and I've never been able to adjust either headlight since I've owned the cruiser bruiser(2 years).

$180?
That's a lot more than I could imagine.

That is a alot. What other options do we have? Changing or modifying a Slee harness?

Yeah, the 180$ harness has 3 relays and runs the low beams when the high beams are on too. Have yet to put mine in though(been putting the Slee 4" lift on). That cheaper option does look pretty good.

Im wanting to swap some depos in lx450. I have a grill and the lights just need time to do it. My question is, do i need to upgrade the wiring? I know i need adapters for the bulbs but will the stock wiring handle it? Will i see an improvement by building a harness similar to the slee harness?

This all depends of the condition of your factory harness. The harness can handle the lights no problem. I installed a Slee harness a few years ago and haven’t had any problems with it but I can’t honestly say that the Slee harness made a significant improvement.

I have depos with about 60K hard miles on them and one of them is full of MOAB red dirt but they work pretty well, JMO passenger light picked up red dirt and still works fine, looks fine to me lol

I just bought a pair and i'm currently wondering how I am going to wire them up with the toyota loom. 99% sure that my quad headlights are all H4, so I think I need to make a pair of H4 to H1 adapters for the H1 side of the depos and then I should be hot to trot aka caliente al trote.
@RFB how would you seal yours up to prevent them from getting bull dust in there?

They are already sealed up the backs of mine are fairly open and I dont have huge issue a little dust in passenger side but desert dust gets in everything

fitted the new pair of Depo headlights yesterday and I'm adjusting them tonight.

does anyone know what the adjustment on the right does? the two on the left are the hi/low and hi beam vertical adjustment, but I can't see any change with the beams when I turn the one underneath my socket there.

But, so far so good. they are definitely an improvement over the 4 square headlights I removed. The Depo's aren't OEM quality but they're definitely not crap. good beam pattern for right hand drive countries too.

That one will adjust the center location of the beam in terms of lateral left/right movement. Mine didn't do too much when I just had the halogens in there, but it does a lot more after I installed projectors. Not sure what was up with it.

Thank you for that, I had a feeling it would be and horizontal adjust, It only does the hi beam yeh?

there is one for the high (left) and low beam (right). I remember having to buy one of those stubby phillips head drivers for the battery side headlight. Which ever side that is for you RHD guys.

You're running the Morimoto 2 Stroke LED in the HB Location "Nice" Quad high beams! I just finished a set with the same setup D2S and 2 Stroke LED.

Oh yeah I wasn't sure about what highs to go with initially, but decided on the 2 strokes right as I was finishing up the retrofit. They are insanely bright as quad highs and were definitely worth it. I only really light them up in super dark areas since I feel too bad having any oncoming traffic blinded by them, even if for like .02 seconds. That setup is like the sun
