I have been a member of this site for a while and have yet to post a few pictures of the rusty swine. This is my third LandCruiser. First 55.

It is in stock condition with a late model 2f. The trans/transfer need help. keeps poping out of first gear on decents. I have a lot of plans for it, but for now I just want get everything working. I rebuilt the carb, the front end, full engine tune, Fluid changes, and have been exercising electrical gremlins. It looks good from a distance, but there is hidden rust, imagine that, a pig with rust.

Here are some pictures of the interior. I have it tore apart to facilitate electrical repairs.

Right on, actually very solid looking 55.

Looks like a good start, Iam thinking 76 , Nice
sorry i should have added that information. Yes a '76 . 11/75 build date with an engine from a '86. When they swapped the engine they did so as a short block and head all other compondents seem to be of correct vintage, not that it matters to me. I did change the points out to Petronix though.

Real nice pig , You will love it , Welcome

Nice. I love seeing a good running piggy, better than them rotting away

Would that be mixing flat top pistons w/ a head made for dome?
I wonder what your CR is.

No head and block are matched '86 all other components are original '76.
