For the longest time I had the clutch spring on the break pedal. Could not figure why the pedal would never return completely. Finally looked at spring in my stash noticed and now the problem is fixed. Looks the same but is a heftier spring.
No one else would probably make that error. My volumn does not have an 11 setting but it does have a -1!

Serious question, should a 1970 55 have a brake pedal return spring? I feel there should be one like on the 40's, but I don't see a place for it to attach to, nor does the pivot pin have a place for it to hook to. Very strange.
