No worries just let me know when you want to do it.

Sent from technology I can't control using the IH8MUD app.

Sliders are welded and POR15ed

I am going to rattle can them with Rustoleum after they dry.

Also, the dent is mostly fixed. Once I put the diamond plate back on, which I also straightened, it will be hard to tell.

Also, I fixed the transfer case cone and my rear shaft is OK although the nut is stripped so I need a nut. Kurt is selfish and was closed for the holiday. I will try to get one this week.

Looks like we are on schedule to make it to Andy's for the party! It will be MH's first ever real wheeling adventure!

See the bullet hole in the door?

BTW, whom ever did the 4speed swap cut the torque tube out and re-welded it. While I was under the truck I discovered that the weld was broken on the passenger side.

Welding beneath the gas tank gave me quite a pucker even with the doubled up welding blanket. I am certain my weld is better than the PO's so I guess I should expect the other side to break too.

I finally finished the body work on the half doors and full doors too, so they (along with the tub on the frame off) are ready for primer. I am not doing anything more with them and will shoot the doors with Rustoleum red to match the truck.

cool----met a guy with a 62 who works at Lavender Mtn Hardware in Armuchee the other day--he's looking for a tranny--"got Mud?" I told him someone would help him out

Will continue to check on your progress--Dave

Is it a white one? I saw a white one the other day driving up Turner McCall.

BTW - Picked up my RTT from Steve at Southeast Overland on Friday :bounce:

looks good man, bolted on right?
Yep. They did not get too used this weekend....except as steps ;)
I think they fit well and are very sturdy. I wanna take them off and paint over the POR 15 but they were suck a PITA to get mounted I may wait a while.

Whom ever mentioned that I may have trouble finding an old style 35" BFG MT, they were right. I have a line on two but they are becoming extinct.
