Got me a new 'salt rifle today














I pity the fly that lands on my drafting table now :D
ammo is cheap and its a kosher execution. Pretty humane for a fly

Where do I get a salt rifle, we have tons of flies
 
Found mine at the local hobby store
might check amazon or google around, perhaps they sell direct or let me know if you cant find one

better hide that thing sodium govement don't know you have a-salt rifle. Anyone knocks on your door pepper um real good one time.

50 round capacity, but we got endurance flies around here that dont ever land, or know what they can land on like an open carb

Here is a picture from Saturday in Ramseur. Its a 200-460 yard shoot. I used Rosie the Riveter (M1 Garand) with iron sights. I only hit 25% but I was happy considering it was my second time shooting it and the first time at this distance. After the competition I broke out Lucille (Rem 700 in .308) and was drilling the targets. Scopes are great but it was almost too easy. If you ever get a chance to do long distance shooting I highly recommend it. The big white squares are numbers. If you can see the little white squares, that's the target. Oh yeah, and check out the hair. LEGENDARY.

I am not too sure i have ever been able to shoot long distance, well, depending on what you are talking about firing / firing at . Seeing as my job was to reach out and touch long distance then maybe so. And yes i miss being paid to go to the range all day long.
 
Need to find a long distance range near me. Have too many rifles collecting dust!

I'm in Houston and my job got delayed from this afternoon to tomorrow. My colleague asked if I had anything in mind to kill time and I pointed to the billboard we were passing for an indoor range with rentals :).

Only stayed an hour, but had fun with an HK .45 tactical, M1A standard, and the crowd favorite: an HK UMP in full auto :).

I need to finally pick up an M1A SOCOM.
