The 19 went to the gunsmith where it was bought. He found nothing wrong with if upon examination. However every time he tried he recreated the problem. Thus the it is off to block with the mags for further review or replacement. Uggg

Wow - this thread was dormant for over a month.
So I got all excited today when the store I was in had a half shelf full of 5.56/.223 PMAG 30 GEN2. I bought 2 at $19.99/ea then got home to find them online for about $13. Did I get hosed? I don't follow the AR stuff much and didn't know if mags are still hard to find. I figured this is the year I'll buy an AR so I got them to keep it in my mind.

sgammo.com usually has PMags at a good price. Whenever I order up some ammo, I usually add a mag or two. The 7.62 PMags are still hard to find though.
