Silencerco hybrid 46 for me too. Really makes the Lords Caliber tame. .45ACP

I cant recall if i stated this or not back in December - but recent pick up with a 365X. Great carry gun - 9mm, plenty of rounds capacity (vs my lcp with 6+1)

I had the original 365 and with my eyes, I wanted to covert all my carry guns to a red dot. I got the 365X-Macro. I love it… great shooter with 17+1 while still very concealable. Win-Win-Win The Romeo X dot is awesome, really love the 32 MOA circle.
I alternate with the 43X with a shield arms 15 round magazine, Shield RMSc and TLR-7 sub

I do love the 365X though, I really weighed that and the X-Macro

I'm wanting to try a red dot (to prepare for any possible age related vision issues) but don't have anything already milled for one. The Glock 43MOS seems like the wisest choice based on things I already own but I welcome any thoughts on a platform and also on a red dot.

I'm just gonna assume I can't put one on my Luger!

🤣🤣🤣

SO many good options out there today. You really can’t go wrong with any of the big guys (Sig, Glock, S&W, Springfield, etc.) they all have good solutions for mounting although it’s starting to get to option overload.

My corrected vision just couldn’t see the front post anymore so a dot was a great solution for me. My contacts correct my astigmatism so the dot is clear and crisp.

I have a Trijicon RMR on a full-size Glock, the Shield RMSc on the 43x and the Romeo x on the Sig 365X-Macro. They’re all great but I pick up the circle on the Romeo much easier.

We should get a range day together to see different options out there today.

I'm looking for a Williams FP-88 aperture sight for a Winchester Model 88 or 100. Here's a photo...

^This!

Since is @JohnVee 's money and not mine :) How about this:

Also think about how your going to holster it - maybe even find that first. RMR options are more plentiful vs SRO vs some others.

You can also buy a milled slide only, if you prefer, vs a whole new gun if you have something you like already.

If you own other Glocks, you will have to go with the single stack magazines for the 43 vs 19 or 26.

Brownells sells cheap (and good quality) milled slides for glocks. Maybe other brands too. You can piece together exactly what you want.

Dan - I have a guy who thinks he's got this. I'll send you pics once he sends me some. He used to work for my dad.
EPIC!

I want it for my father-in-law's 1958 vintage 88. it's not a collectable because it has a post-1964 stock and it got put away once when wet and there are external pits. However it will make a very cool truck gun with that sight. After competing for years in NRA High-Power Service Rifle I feel most at home with aperture sights. I don't care much for the scope and the stock v-notch is not friendly to my eyes.

Williams FP-88 aperture sight

This came right up on ebay so you probably already have checked it out

My apology but the majority of the sights in my collection are Redfields (Palma, International and Olympics) and no Williams. I will keep an eye out. Good luck

The sight pictured does not have the correct mounting points for a Model 88.

Thank you very much.

For reference here is the "poached" photo of the correct sight and a shot of the receiver showing the mounting holes.
