If Clemson can field a complete O line against Auburn they win by 10+.

David, $10 donation to UC and a jar of something apple pie flavored, what do you say?

Another Virgo is a scary thought but at least he will start off right with a win over USC.

Beverage of choice owed personally...$10 to UC....deal.
I think both CU and USC could have some pretty darn good teams in late November.
I'd bet neither team will be undefeated by then.
I don't see Greatness in 'Em...just yet.

Both teams are going to have losing seasons. UNC will be higher ranked than both those teams at the end of the season. We all know it.

this isn't the basketball thread:flipoff2:

Does Auburn still have that QB that scramble/run...he played back up last season but still saw some snaps..

If so...Clemson will lose this one 10+

On a happier note...S.Car will probably have the most complete team we've ever seen come out of Columbia...With our scheduel it will be hard to get 10 wins but i think we'll do it so long as we stay healthy.

Shaw may not have much of an arm but so long as he can manage the clock and make some 3rd and short passes that O line and good looking back field will carry him to an SEC championship game

Yes-Kiehl Frazier, expect him to start.

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn coach Gene Chizik has suspended center Reese Dismukes following the sophomore's arrest on a public intoxication charge.

Chizik says he is "very disappointed in Reese Dismukes for his irresponsible behavior'' Friday night.

The suspension comes eight days before Tigers open against Clemson in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

Chizik did not say how long Dismukes' suspension would last.

The Lee County's sheriff's office said that the starter was released on a $300 bond. It did not offer further details.

Dismukes was one of the only certainties on Auburn's offensive line, which has had competition at several positions. His backup is sophomore Tunde Fariyike.

Dismukes did not return a message seeking comment. He was one of two offensive players to start every game last season at the same position.

Big time loss for them.

true that, it may actually be a bigger loss for them than sammy was for us... we've had months to prepare for life with out sammy, but they only have a weak to bring a true freshman up to speed on a o-line that is already full of inexperience

Carolina defense should be good again and I'm hearing lots of talk about the offense.

What are we hearing about our defense?

All I've heard so far is that speed is still there with several returning players and sideline calls have been simplified. Should make for a good combination if our offense is playing like they did last year.

I'm ready to see what happens.

Clemson D-line lacks depth and the backups need to improve fast during the year. Linebackers are pretty solid, they all have some experience. Secondary has a decent amount of returning guys but 2 of them have switched positions, expect Blanks will play a lot as a true freshman. Simplified play calling and scheme should be a good thing. Youth and inexperience will need to be improved on quickly.

yeah aburn now has a true freshman starting at center and a true sophmore starting at QB...... I smell fresh meat :D

that sophmore took a good bit of snaps in SEC games last season...and he looked good doing it.

When you have a QB that can move his feet you can get by with a weak line. When you watch this guy play you'll think "Cam Newton"

To say it's an easy win is a very foolish statment for an ACC team with a very unproven D with very little depth.

If that QB can keep the chains moving the Clemson D will not have anything left by half time.

I'm not pulling for Auburn but it will be an interesting team to watch this year with a really good QB taking the snaps. IMHO he should have been starting last season.

I just don't see Clemson making this a game.

Vandy is supposed to have a good team this season...but S.Car has the team to beat in the east this year. I'm thinking this is our SEC championship season!

S.Car has size, depth, experience and most important TALENT on all sides of the ball! Look for a smash mouth run it down your throat football team this season!
