that sophmore took a good bit of snaps in SEC games last season...and he looked good doing it.

When you have a QB that can move his feet you can get by with a weak line. When you watch this guy play you'll think "Cam Newton"

I just don't see Clemson making this a game.

You are comparing Kiehl Fraizer to Cam Newton??? that is laughable:popcorn:

This will be his first start, there is not a returning starter on their offensive line, they have a new OC who runs a completely different system, and it is a neutral site game......... I think the odds are stacked against him especially when you consider the loss of his freshman All American, and all SEC center Dismukes:confused:

Also please feel free to explain why you don't see Clemson making this a game? Do you have any insight to back this up or are you just using you coot logic :hillbilly:

And there will be a quarterback worth watching there on Sat. but he will be playing for us

he may not have started any games but he's had snaps in some big games against big opponets.

You'll see why i compare him to Cam Newton this weekend.

He has a pretty good arm, he's a big guy and he can run.

If Clemson can't keep him contained the game will not be close.

I don't think any clemson fan will say that your D will be better than it was last season...and we all saw how well you guys did against a mobile QB last year.

Yeah he played against us last year, wasn't impressed....

I mean seriously have you even seen his stats, I will give you he can run, but he was 5 of 12 for 34yds last year with 2 INTs and no TDs, that to you justifys a pretty good arm??? Get Real  face it he is an unknown at best....

Also he isn't a big guy either, he is the exact same size is Tajh Boyd 6'-1" 220. Now Logan Thomas and EJ Manuel are big quaterbacks at 240+ and 6'-5" both of who we have faced. Like I said earlier this is coot logic at it's best, I assume this all stems from the fact they beat you last year so in your eyes they must be world beaters. I think those 5th place rings have gone to your heads

And yes I guarantee you our D will be better than last year, as that D was our worst stasticly in over 30 years, there is only room for improvement  Not to mention our weakness form last year, LBs are vastly improved and will now likely be a strength and should easily handle a running QB

Little advise readmore post less :flipoff2:

He is no Cam Newton, if he was even close he'd have been the starter last year. He is going to spend all night running around because of his weak line. BTW we shut down Cam Newton better than ANY SEC team did the year they won the Championship in case you forgot, so a not so good version doesn't scare us.

If this is USuC's Championship season then why is everyone picking them to finish second behind UGA in the East? Surely every analyst from ESPN, Yahoo, Athlon, etc., etc. can't be missing something that you aren't can they? Maybe I should buy the DOHC Football Preview Magazine on the magazine rack in the grocery store.

Our D will definitely be better this year even with the loss of D-line depth. The guys at the top are still hugely talented and the problem is just lack of experience with the backups not lack of talent. The scheme is simpler, less zones and switches, which will make it easier on younger players to pick up and step up. LB return everyone and Secondary will be all guys who started or were #2 on the chart and saw time last year.

S.Car will take care of UGA...S.Car is always the underdog..that's why they are so fun to pull for!

When you guys get killed by Auburn this weekend because your D couldn't stop a QB who runs for 100yds i'll be saying I told you so.

I look foward to your apology :flipoff2:

If that happens (which it won't) it would make him the only 100yd rusher on the field for Auburn. There is simply no way he is going to beat us rushing, we are going to stack the box and force him to throw. The simple fact is he has almost as many completions to other teams (2) as he does to his own team (5). We are going to force him to throw until he proves he can do it effectively.

Usuck, your team is pathetic... you win on a blatant pass interference, it is going to be a long season for you

and David this one is for you, you quarterback is a pussy, I don't know if I have seen a bigger baby :flipoff2:

Have agree. Bad call. But a win is a win. Hope y'all work on your defense.

yes a win is a win, but USC just got a reality check and they need a lot of work to be the #9 team in the country.

I guess maybe they just got complacent after those 5th place rings last year:grinpimp:

Really solid win over the second worst team in your conference last night Cocks. If you need a blatant pass interference to preserve a win against Vandy you have no shot at winning the east. Good thing your frail ass QB pulled the tampon out and came back in the game to "rally" them in the second half. All USuC fans better pray Shaw stays healthy cause that backup QB couldn't throw a ball in the ocean.

No way Vandy would have beat Clemson by 14, their QB is a scrub and their D was full of holes. Clemson would have put 50 on that Vandy defense last night.

i wanted to see a break out run game

putting in an inexperienced QB and calling 3 passes for no gain :(

RUN THE BALL!!!

Looks like the Vols are gonna be a team to reckon with this year! NC State is going backwards...

Good luck tonight Tigers, ACC needs a win!

And we got it too!! Clemson defense needs some work but offense looked good. Ellington is absolutely amazing. Can't wait until Watkins comes back.
