Please, you really want to compare a Citadel option to GT? Your're funny. Those guys were LITERALLY have the size of your front 4, and they still drilled 8+ yard runs CONSISTENTLY.

Like I said, I knew you would win, but your whole stadium wasn't happy with the defense. It got damn quiet on those TD drives. One thing those Citadel boys had that USuC didn't yesterday, HEART!

\\while navy does not have the size of the GT line they have a more disciplined line which in many ways is superior.

and i'm not sure that they prepared our D for the citadle game, i'm sure they were preparing for clemson all last week. Since we knew their offense would not be able to hang with us point for point since there average drive lasts about half a qtr.

I think it's funny that VT slipped into #5. Even though I think they suck, and they played the EASIEST non-conference schedule in history it shows how flawed this whole system is. That and the fact that OSU didn't fall but 2 spots after losing to an unranked team.

And trust me, this has NOTHING to do with Clemson falling in the ranks. They don't even need to be in the top 25 after that performance.

This has to do with VT not deserving to be in the top 5. I'll be rooting for UVA this weekend.

**** Jeremy, a lot of hating going on against VT. While I agree we do not deserve to be # 5, it is what it is. And the yahoos might very well kick our ass, but I hope we win just so we get another shot at Clempson in the ACCC. It really doesn't matter since the ACC winner will only go to the orange bowl, no chance for a NC game.

I have not bought into the whole South Carolina's top 5 defense is overrated all season long, I want to thank Clemson's lack luster offensive play for helping to pad those stats! It's those lowly easy win non conference games that i like to see scheduled just to pad the stats!


and this is with against a healthy watkins that is just too much for us to handle!!!

we play in the SEC....we were 1 win from a second SEC east title.

i couldn't be happier with a 10-2 season with a real ass whooping put on Clemson!!!

you can't blame your tigers for losing this one, was just simply an inferior team losing to a higher caliber SEC opponet! NC state and wake don't prepare you for SEC play!
