i wouldn't go putting that in stone just yet.

We have a really young, really talented team.

I wouldn't be so sure that we don't upset a few of the big guys over the next few seasons.

I wouldn't say that about UNC just yet.

See any one can insert their lousy team and it still looks silly.:D

UGA lost Greene for 3 games, and will still put a hurting on the lamecocks come Saturday.:D

Can't wait, gonna watch the game, then head to a neighborhood b-day party at 3:00 with ALL gamecock fans. Can't wait to see what happens.

If they win, I probably don't want to go and hear all the smack Championship talk, just like dohc is spewing.

lol

unlike the SEC a low rank team has come out and suprised the ACC back when Wake won the championship in '06 IIRC...maybe it was '03

either way, i'm pulling for UNC pull it off this season!

It's only week two bro...you have a few more months of me talking smack!

And i'm going to be at the camping trip...when i'm not chasing my son up and down the beach i'll be able to talk smack in person! lol

Got to say I like USuC's chances against UGA Green is pretty much their only real playmaker and their receiving corps is a little short compared to years past.

I'm worried about their O-line.

We're fortunate to be facing them without green.

We're still hurting without Saunders and i'm not sure how well our D will be able to blitz against that stacked line.

But with plenty of other weapons these kind of opprotunities are what our team needs to compete with the big guns. If we don't take advantage of them...visors will be thrown to the ground.

If it turns into a shootout then USC wins, if its a D battle then 50-50. I'd say 70-30 UGA if they had Green though.

Yeah...last year they had Green and it was a total blow out

There are reasons we could lose... but not having Green would only be a small part of that. He's undoubtedly one of the best in the game, but he's just one guy. We have others, and a game that won't focus on the pass this week.

70 - 30 to 50 -50 because of Green is silly.

I do buy 70-30 though.

From a NC perspective, the SEC has more than any other conference... and probably another one coming this year unless powerhouse Boise St wins it all :grinpimp: I mean, they did just beat the powerhouse of the ACC?

From 1936 through today...

1. SEC, 20

2. Big Ten, 18

3. Big 12, 17

4. Non-BCS (Notre Dame, Army, BYU, TCU), 13

5. Pac-10 & ACC, 9

6. Big East, 4

That was a terrible game. It was all about defense. I watched the Duke Wake game instead. It was a good game.

My wife isn't happy about the Dogs losing.

USC game sucked, really didn't show what either team could really do. Agreed, too much defense.

The Miami/Ohio game is looking a litle better.

I hate to say it but the ACC isn't looking so hot today.... we blew both our chances to make ourselves look like a respectable conference today; The Va Tech Game really hurt

Good news is Clemson will save face for the ACC next week when they roll into Auburn and bitch slap the SEC in the face

I heard that PC scored a TD! Priceless. :grinpimp:

three to be exact :hillbilly:

but don't worry you won't score that many when you come to the death valley in november

We played 4 QB's today....can you say ouch.....but Henley enjoyed the game, first game for the little guy, will try and post pictures later on.

On 3rd/4th string.

Guess that means PC can score a touchdown on Chapin HS after all.

I really hate it for Miami. I was rooting for you big time. Figured the FSU shellacking was coming, and nobody saw the VT beat down coming, except dohc. Bad day for ACC in primetime.

USC might actually have a chance of making the SEC CG this year as long as they don't let Garcia bring back old habits. One fumble, 5 fumbles. 1 int., 5 int.. 1 call back TD, 5 call back TD's.:lol::lol:

for the record the only conference i consider weaker than the ACC is the Big 10. Guess thier so called powerhouse caught one of your "back in the day" powerhouses on an off day.

As for not seeing what the S.Car offense can do...nearly 200 yds on the ground by a true freshmen against a very talented Georgia D...i'll tell you what S.Car can do...run the ball down your throat for 4 qtrs!!! And if you get too aggressive on the run they will kill you on the pass with those tall recievers!!!

The pass D for S.Car was under par letting up almost 200yds in the air but keeping a Georgia team with a killer O line to less than 75 on the ground was no small feat.

Clemson fans still have no bragging rights until you guys play someone other than a highschool team...i'm not sure that two back to back highshool teams really prepare you for the SEC. Good luck...your going to need it!

Yeah, it reminded me of watching my Dolphins riding on the back of R. Williams for 4 quarters because they don't have a QB worth a shnit.
